Autofill เป็น Framework จัดการการสื่อสารระหว่าง Apps และ Autofill service บนอุปกรณ์ คล้าย Password managers ที่กรอกข้อมูลในแอปอื่นด้วยข้อมูลที่ให้ไว้ก่อนหน้า Autofill services กำจัดการกรอกฟอร์มที่ใช้เวลาและผิดพลาดได้ง่าย
ทำให้หงุดหงิดต้องกรอกฟอร์มซ้ำๆ บนแอปต่างๆ Autofill framework ทำประสบการณ์ดีขึ้น
บน Android Autofill ใช้ Google Password Management service ใส่ Username/Password ลงแอป ทำงานกับ Password manager apps อื่นได้ ต้อง Android 8.0 ขึ้นไป
เปิดใช้งาน Google Autofill
1. เปิด Settings บน Android
2. ไป General Management (หรือ System)
3. ไป Language and Time → แตะ "Language and input"
4. หา Input Assistance (หรือ Expand Advanced Settings) → แตะ Autofill service
5. แตะตัวเลือก Google เพื่อเลือก (ถ้าเป็น Default service ที่ต้องการ) หากอยากใช้ Third-party autofill app แตะ "Add Service" แอปที่รองรับ: Enpass, LastPass, Dashlane, Keeper, 1Password
บันทึกข้อมูล Login
1. กลับไป Autofill Service บนอุปกรณ์
2. แตะไอคอน Gear Settings ถัดจาก Google หรือ Third-party app ที่เลือก
3. จะมี Prompt บอกว่า Google จะเห็นอะไรหากตั้งเป็น Default autofill กด OK ยืนยัน
4. เลือก Email เริ่มต้นสำหรับ Autofill → Continue
5. พิมพ์ข้อมูล รวม Password หรือข้อมูลอื่น ที่ต้องการ Autofill ตอน Login แอป
หมายเหตุ: สำหรับ Third-party apps ต้องติดตั้งแอปก่อนใช้งาน
ใช้งาน Autofill
เปิดแอป ลอง Sign in เมื่อ Prompt ล็อกอินสำเร็จ Android Oreo จะเสนอ Save credentials ไป Google หรือ Third-party app ที่ Sign in อยู่
เปิดแอป แตะ "Sign In" Email จะโผล่เป็นตัวเลือกแนะนำ คล้าย Autofill Chrome ในช่อง Login
Third-party apps: จะได้ Prompt Unlock Password manager และเลือก Credentials โดยไม่ต้องออกจากหน้า Login
