แม้มีประโยชน์ แต่ Balloon Notifications บางครั้งรบกวนหรือทำให้ 주의散漫 ในสภาพแวดล้อมงานหรือเซิร์ฟเวอร์ นี่คือวิธีปิด Balloon Notifications ใน Windows
หมายเหตุ: ก่อนเริ่ม ตรวจสอบว่า Backup Windows Registry ไว้แล้ว เผื่ออะไรผิดพลาด
ปิด Balloon Notifications ทั้งหมด
กด Win + R พิมพ์ regedit กด Enter
ไปที่คีย์:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
สร้างคีย์ใหม่: คลิกขวาด้านขวา → New → DWORD (32-bit) Value
ตั้งชื่อ EnableBalloonTips กด Enter
คลิกสองครั้ง ตรวจสอบค่าเป็น 0 หากไม่ใช่ ใส่ 0 คลิก OK
ปิด Balloon Notifications สำเร็จ รีสตาร์ทหรือ Log off จะไม่เห็น Balloon Notifications อีก
ปิดเฉพาะ Feature Advertisement Balloon Notifications
หากคิดว่าปิดทั้งหมดมากเกินไป หรือต้องการปิดเฉพาะประเภทบางอย่าง สามารถปิดเฉพาะ Feature Advertisement Balloon Notifications ได้
Feature Advertisement Balloon Notifications คือ การแจ้งเตือนเช่น พบฮาร์ดแวร์ใหม่ "งานเสร็จสิ้น" จากโปรแกรม ฯลฯ
เปิด Registry ด้วย regedit ไปที่คีย์:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\
สร้างคีย์ใหม่: คลิกขวาด้านขวา → New → DWORD (32-bit) Value
ตั้งชื่อ NoBalloonFeatureAdvertisements กด Enter
ค่าเริ่มต้นคือ 0 คลิกสองครั้ง ใส่ค่า 1 คลิก OK
รีสตาร์ทหรือ Log off จะไม่ได้รับ Feature Advertisement Balloon Notifications ที่รบกวน ข้อดีคือยังคงรับ System Notifications เช่น อัปเดตและความปลอดภัย
