Indexing คือการจัดทำดัชนีไฟล์เพื่อค้นหาเร็วขึ้น แต่ Windows 11/10 ค่าเริ่มต้นไม่ index ไฟล์ที่เข้ารหัส หากคุณเก็บไฟล์เข้ารหัสและต้องการให้ค้นหาได้ ต้องเปลี่ยนตั้งค่า
วิธี Index Encrypted files ใน Windows 11/10
แนะนำสร้าง System Restore Point ก่อนแก้ไข
มี 3 วิธี:
- ผ่าน Indexing Options
- ใช้ Registry Editor
- ใช้ Group Policy Editor
ก่อนเพิ่มไฟล์เข้ารหัสเข้า Index ควรเปิดใช้งาน BitLocker หรือโปรแกรมเข้ารหัสอื่นบน System drive เพื่อความปลอดภัย มิฉะนั้น Windows อาจเตือน Cannot Verify Files
เพิ่ม Encrypted Files เข้า Windows Search Index
1] ใช้ Indexing Options
ค้นหา Indexing Options ใน Cortana Search
คลิกโฟลเดอร์ที่ต้องการ (เช่น Users) > Advanced > แท็บ Index Settings > ติ๊ก Index encrypted files > OK
2] ใช้ Registry Editor
Win+R พิมพ์ regedit Enter > Yes (UAC)
ไปที่:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Search
หากไม่มีโฟลเดอร์ Windows Search คลิกขวา New > Key ตั้งชื่อ Windows Search
ในโฟลเดอร์นั้น New > DWORD (32-bit) Value ตั้งชื่อ AllowIndexingEncryptedStoresOrItems
ดับเบิลคลิก ตั้งค่า: Enabled = 1, Disabled = 0
ปิด Registry Editor รีบูท
3] ใช้ Group Policy Editor
Win+R พิมพ์ gpedit.msc Enter
ไป: Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Search
ดับเบิลคลิก Allow indexing of encrypted files เปิดหน้าตั้งค่า
คำอธิบาย: เปิด = index พยายามถอดรหัสและ index เนื้อหา (ข้อจำกัดการเข้าถึงยังคงมี) ปิด = ไม่ index ไฟล์เข้ารหัส ค่าเริ่มต้นไม่ได้ตั้งค่า ใช้ค่าจาก Control Panel (ปิดอยู่)
เลือก Enabled หรือ Disabled ตามต้องการ OK ออกจาก Group Policy Editor รีบูท
