ความแตกต่างระหว่าง AutoPlay และ AutoRun
AutoRun ใช้เริ่มโปรแกรมหรือ Media Content อัตโนมัติเมื่อแทรก CD/DVD/Media อื่นเข้าคอมพิวเตอร์ แตกต่างจาก AutoPlay แต่ผลลัพธ์มักเหมือนกัน: Media เริ่มทำงานอัตโนมัติด้วยโปรแกรมเฉพาะ
AutoPlay ให้เลือกโปรแกรมสำหรับเปิด Media ประเภทต่างๆ (DVD, CD, เพลง, วิดีโอ, รูป) เช่นครั้งแรกเล่น Audio CD AutoPlay จะถามว่าจะใช้ Media Player ไหน (หากติดตั้งหลายตัว) AutoRun อยู่ใน Media เอง แก้ไขไม่ได้ เมื่อแทรก CD ที่ใช้ AutoRun, AutoPlay จะถามว่าจะเล่น AutoRun Content หรือข้าม AutoPlay จึงเป็นผู้รับบทหลัง AutoRun
เพื่อป้องกัน Malware ผ่าน AutoRun Microsoft เปลี่ยนแปลงสำคัญตั้งแต่ Windows 7: AutoPlay ไม่รองรับ AutoRun สำหรับ Non-optical Removable Media (USB Drives) อีกต่อไป AutoPlay ยังทำงานกับ CD/DVD แต่ไม่ทำงานกับ USB
AutoPlay ใน Windows 11/10
เมื่อต่ออุปกรณ์เข้าคอมพิวเตอร์ AutoPlay จะรันอัตโนมัติเล่น Media (เพลง, รูป, วิดีโอ) แม้จะดี แต่บางคนต้องการปิด
ปิด AutoPlay ใน Windows 11/10
1. Control Panel
เปิด Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\AutoPlay ตั้งค่าตามต้องการ
2. ใช้ Settings
Windows 11
- เปิด Windows 11 Settings
- เปิด Bluetooth & Devices Settings
- ด้านขวาคลิก AutoPlay
- Toggle สไลด์ AutoPlay เป็น Off
- ปรับตั้งค่า AutoPlay อื่นๆ ได้
Windows 10
Settings > Devices > AutoPlay Toggle สไลด์เป็น Off ปรับตั้งค่าอื่นได้
3. ใช้ Group Policy
รัน gpedit.msc > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Autoplay Policies > ดับเบิลคลิก Turn off Autoplay > เลือก Enabled > ใน Turn off Autoplay on เลือก All drives > Restart
4. Registry Editor
รัน regedit ไปที่:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
ด้านขวา DWORD NoDriveTypeAutoRun ค่า Default 60 หรือ 3C คลิกขวาแก้เป็น Decimal 255 (Hex 000000FF) > Exit Regedit > Reboot จะปิด AutoRun ทุก Drive
หรือใช้ Ultimate Windows Tweaker ปิด AutoPlay ด้วยคลิกเดียว
