เหมือน Cortana และ Alexa คุณสามารถใช้ Google Assistant บน PC ได้ แต่ไม่มีวิธีตรงไปตรงมา ต้องใช้วิธีอ้อม แต่ใช้ได้กับ Windows 11/10 PC และ Chromebook บทความนี้แนะนำขั้นตอนตั้งค่า
ก่อนเริ่ม ต้องเปิด Voice & Audio Activity สำหรับ Google Account:
- บน Android เปิด Settings
Google Manage your Google Account - แท็บบนสุด Data & personalization
- Under Activity controls กด Web & App Activity
- ติ๊ก/ยกเลิก Include audio recordings เปิด/ปิดการบันทึกเสียง
ปิดการบันทึกเสียง = Voice Input จาก Google Search/Assistant/Maps ไม่ถูกบันทึก แม้ Sign In อยู่ ปิดแล้วไม่ลบข้อมูลเก่า ลบเองได้ตลอด
มี Google Assistant สำหรับ PC จริงไหม?
มีครับ ผ่าน Unofficial Client ใช้ Feature หลายอย่างของ Google Assistant ได้ เหมือน Google Particular ของคุณ
ติดตั้ง Google Assistant บน Windows 11/10
ต้องดาวน์โหลดติดตั้ง Python บน Windows PC ติ๊ก Add Python 3.8 to PATH
หลังติดตั้ง Python ทำต่อ:
1) เปิด Windows Explorer สร้าง Folder ใหม่ใน C: Drive ชื่อ GoogleAssistant
2) เปิด Google Cloud Platform เลือก Create Project Sign In ด้วย Google Account
3) ตั้งชื่อ Project WinGoogleAssistant จะได้ Project ID ใต้ชื่อโปรเจกต์ จดไว้ จะใช้ตอน Setup
4) คลิก Create ต่อไป
5) เปิด Google Assistant APIs คลิก Enable เปิด API แล้ว Create Credentials
6) หน้า Add credentials to your project ตอบ 3 คำถาม:
- Which API are you using? → Google Assistant API
- Where will you be calling the API from? → Other UI (e.g., Windows, CLI tool)
- What data will you be accessing? → User data
คลิก What credentials do I need?
7) คลิก Setup consent screen เปลี่ยน Application Type = Internal
Application name = WinGoogleAssistant คลิก Save
8) Create credentials > Help me choose ตอบเหมือนข้อ 6 แล้วต่อ
9) Name = WGAcredentials คลิก Create OAuth client ID
10) Download Credentials คลิก Done
11) เลือก Down arrow ดาวน์โหลด JSON File บันทึกใน Folder GoogleAssistant (ข้อ 1)
12) Win+R พิมพ์ cmd Enter เปิด CMD Copy-Paste Syntax Enter:
py -m pip install google-assistant-sdk[samples]
13) รอติดตั้ง Paste Syntax ต่อ Enter:
py -m pip install --upgrade google-auth-oauthlib[tool]
14) เปิด Folder GoogleAssistant หา JSON File (ข้อ 11) คลิกขวา Open
15) Copy File Name จาก Properties กลับไป CMD พิมพ์:
google-oauthlib-tool --client-secrets C:\GoogleAssistant\
วาง File Name ที่ Copy มา + Space แล้วพิมพ์ต่อ Enter:
--scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/assistant-sdk-prototype --save --headless
16) จะเห็น URL แสดง ก่อน Prompt Enter the authorization code Copy URL ทั้งหมด (ขึ้นต้น https://)
17) เปิด Browser ใหม่ วาง URL Sign In ด้วย Google Account เดิม จะมี Dialog ขอ Allow Access ให้ Win Google Assistant กด Allow
18) หน้าถัดไป ได้ String ตัวอักษรตัวเลขยาว Copy ด้วย Icon ด้านข้าง
19) กลับ CMD วาง Authorization Code ที่ Copy มา (ข้อ 16) กด Enter จะเห็น credentials saved
20) ตอนนี้คุณมี Google Assistant บน Windows 11/10 PC แล้ว
21) ทดสอบ: ใน CMD พิมพ์:
py -m googlesamples.assistant.grpc.audio_helpers
PC จะบันทึกเสียง 5 วินาที แล้วเล่นกลับ หากได้ยินเสียง = Setup สำเร็จ
22) ใส่ Project ID (ข้อ 3) ใน CMD Enter
23) พิมพ์:
googlesamples-assistant-devicetool --project-id
Space Project ID Space แล้วพิมพ์ Enter:
register-model --manufacturer "Assistant SDK developer" --product-name "Assistant SDK light" --type LIGHT --model "GA4W"
24) หากต้องการ Push-to-talk พิมพ์ Enter:
py -m googlesamples.assistant.grpc.pushtotalk --device-model-id "GA4W" --project-id
25) กด Enter ระหว่างโปรแกรมทำงาน พูดคำสั่งให้ Google Assistant

Google Assistant ปลอดภัยไหม?
Client/วิธีนี้ ไม่ใช่ Official เป็น Workaround ไม่มีใครรับรองความปลอดภัย แนะนำใช้ Google Account อีกอัน (ไม่ใช่ Primary) เพื่อความปลอดภัย จะไม่ได้ Personalization เหมือนโทรศัพท์ แต่ใช้งานได้
ทำไมไม่มี Official Google Assistant Client สำหรับ Windows PC?
คำตอบอยู่ที่ Google แต่ส่วนใหญ่เกี่ยวกับการแข่งขันใกล้ชิด รวมถึง User PC ส่วนใหญ่ไม่ใช้ Assistant (เช่น Cortana ไม่ได้รับความนิยม)
