หากต้องการ สำรองและกู้คืนการตั้งค่าแอป Photos ใน Windows 10 สามารถทำตาม Tutorial นี้ได้ Photos เป็น Preinstalled app ใน Windows 10 ให้เปิดและแก้ไขรูปภาพได้ทันที หาก Photos app ทำงานไม่ได้ อาจ Uninstall/Reinstall แต่ก่อนหน้านั้นอาจอยาก Backup Settings ก่อน

วิธีสำรองและกู้คืนการตั้งค่าแอป Photos

ขั้นตอนสำรองและกู้คืน Photos app settings ใน Windows 10:

1. เปิด File Explorer บนคอมพิวเตอร์
2. ไปที่โฟลเดอร์ Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbwe
3. ดับเบิลคลิกที่ Settings
4. คัดลอก roaming.lock และ settings.dat files
5. วางไว้ที่อื่นเพื่อย้าย
6. เปิด Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder บน Destination computer
7. วาง roaming.lock และ settings.dat files

ก่อนอื่น ต้อง Copy ไฟล์บางไฟล์ เพื่อย้ายจาก PC ปัจจุบันไปอีกเครื่อง เนื่องจาก Photos เป็น Preinstalled app จาก Microsoft Store อาจไม่เจอ Entry ใน Registry Editor

เพื่อ Backup settings ต้อง Backup ไฟล์บางไฟล์จาก Location เฉพาะ

เริ่มต้น เปิด File Explorer ไปที่ Path:

C:\Users\your-username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbwe

ทางเลือก: กด Win+R เปิด Run prompt พิมพ์ Path ด้านล่าง กด Enter

%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbwe

ในโฟลเดอร์ Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbwe จะมี Sub-folder ชื่อ Settings เปิด Settings folder จะเจอ 2 ไฟล์ชื่อ roaming.lock และ settings.dat คัดลอกไฟล์ทั้งสอง วางไว้ที่อื่น

ข้อมูล: สามารถย้ายจากเครื่องหนึ่งไปอีกเครื่องได้

หลังจากนั้น เปิด Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder เดียวกันบน Destination computer

วางไฟล์ทั้งสองใน Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder

อาจเจอ Warning ตอน Replace existing files คลิก Replace the files in the destination
