ใช้ File Locksmith ใน PowerToys v0.64+: หา Process ที่ Lock ไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์ ได้ง่ายๆ

PowerToys v0.64.0 เพิ่ม 2 Utilities ใหม่: File Locksmith และ Hosts File Editor File Locksmith ช่วย หา Process ที่กำลัง Lock/ใช้ไฟล์หรือโฟลเดอร์อยู่ - แก้ปัญหา "File in use", "Cannot delete", "Access denied" ได้ง่ายขึ้น

เปิดใช้งาน File Locksmith

1. ติดตั้ง PowerToys (Microsoft Store, GitHub, หรือ Winget: winget install Microsoft.PowerToys)
2. เปิด PowerToys Settings > แท็บ File Locksmith > Toggle On

วิธีใช้งาน

1. เปิด File Explorer (Win+E)
2. คลิกขวาที่ไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์ (หรือเลือกหลายไฟล์พร้อมกัน)
3. Windows 11: ต้องกด Show more options (Shift+F10) ก่อน -> จะเห็น "What's using this file?"
4. Windows 10: เลือก "What's using this file?" ทันที
5. File Locksmith จะสแกนและแสดงรายการ Process ที่ Lock ไฟล์:
   • Process ID (PID)
   • User (User account ที่รัน Process)
   • File(s) - จำนวนไฟล์และรายการ
6. คลิก End task ข้าง Process ที่ต้องการปิด
7. หากไม่เจอ Process บางตัว: คลิก Restart as administrator (มุมขวาบน) เพื่อสแกนครบทุก User

ข้อจำกัด

• ไม่เห็น Process ของ User อื่น (ถ้าไม่ Run as Admin)
• Windows 11 ต้องกด "Show more options" ก่อน - ขั้นตอนเพิ่ม (แนะนำใช้ ExplorerPatcher คืน Context Menu แบบเก่า)
• บาง System Processes ปิดไม่ได้ (Protected)

สรุป

File Locksmith ใน PowerToys = GUI สำหรับ "Who locks this file?" ใช้ง่ายกว่า Resource Monitor/Handle.exe เหมาะสำหรับทุกคน เปิดใน PowerToys Settings -> Right-click ไฟล์ -> "What's using this file?" -> End Task ได้เลย!
