ติดตั้ง Windows Insider Builds
ถ้าตัดสินใจดำเนินต่อ ต้องสมัครเป็น Windows Insider ก่อน ควรใช้ Microsoft account ที่ใช้ sign in เข้า Windows แต่อย่างไรก็ตามไม่บังคับ
- ที่หน้าสมัคร Windows Insider ยอมรับ terms and conditions โดยเลื่อนลงล่างสุด คลิก checkbox แล้ว Submit
หลังยอมรับ terms จะได้เข้าร่วม Windows Insider program พร้อมติดตั้ง latest Windows Insider build ของ Windows 10
- เริ่มต้น: ไปที่ Windows 10 Settings menu คลิกขวา Windows Start menu button บน taskbar แล้ว Settings
- ใน Windows Settings คลิก Update & Security
- ใน Update & Security คลิก Windows Insider Program ในเมนูซ้าย (หรือ Windows Insider Programme ถ้าภาษาตั้งเป็น UK English)
- ในเมนู Windows Insider Program คลิก Get Started เริ่มกระบวนการติดตั้ง
- จะถาม link Windows Insider account คลิก Link an account sign in ด้วย Microsoft account ในหน้าต่าง sign-in
จะถามว่า "pace" ของ Windows Insider updates ที่อยากได้คืออะไร ดูรายละเอียดที่เว็บไซต์ Windows Insider
- เลือก Slow สำหรับ "preview" build เสถียรที่สุด Fast สำหรับ build ล่าสุดฟีเจอร์ใหม่สุด (เสี่ยงความไม่เสถียรมากกว่า) Release Preview ได้ feature updates บ้างแต่อยู่บน build เดียวกับผู้ใช้ส่วนใหญ่ หรือ Skip ข้ามไปทดสอบ major Windows release ถัดไป คลิก Confirm
- Windows จะขอยืนยัน terms and conditions อีกครั้ง คลิก Confirm
- ขั้นสุดท้าย จะขอ restart คลิก Restart Now
- Restart แล้ว กลับไป Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update คลิก Check for updates Windows จะดาวน์โหลด latest Windows Insider build พร้อมใช้
Rollback กลับสู่ Windows 10 Stable
ถ้าไม่พอใจประสิทธิภาพ Windows Insider build อยากกลับ stable release ของ Windows 10 ทำได้ภายใน 10 วันแรกของการติดตั้ง Windows Insider build ครั้งแรก
หลัง 10 วัน ต้อง reinstall Windows 10 เพื่อกลับ stable release เพราะ Windows ไม่ให้ downgrade หลังช่วง 10 วันแรก
- ถ้าอยู่ใน 10 วันแรก ไป Settings > Recovery
- คลิก Get started ภายใต้ Go back to the previous version of Windows 10
- ทำตามคำแนะนำ ให้ Windows กู้คืน stable installation
- Downgrade แล้ว กลับไป Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program opt-out คลิก slider Stop getting preview builds จาก Off เป็น On
คุณยังเปลี่ยน Windows Insider settings ได้จากเมนูนี้ รวมถึงความถี่อัปเดต
เวลาไหนก็ตามอยากกลับมาใช้ Windows Insider builds เปลี่ยน slider Stop getting preview builds กลับเป็น Off ไป Settings > Update & Security > Windows update check for updates เริ่มดาวน์โหลด latest Windows Insider build
