BitLocker คืออะไร?

BitLocker เป็น Full Volume Encryption Tool รวมใน Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, Education ใช้ BitLocker เข้ารหัส Drive Volume (Volume หมายถึงส่วนหนึ่งของ Drive ไม่จำเป็นต้องทั้ง Drive)

BitLocker ให้การเข้ารหัสแข็งแกร่งแก่ผู้ใช้ Windows 10 ปกติ โดยค่าเริ่มต้น BitLocker ใช้ 128-bit AES Encryption (AES-128) ด้านเข้ารหัสดูแข็งแกร่ง ปัจจุบันไม่มีวิธี Brute Force แกะ Key AES-128 ทีมวิจัยมีโจมตีทฤษฎีบน AES Algorithm แต่ใช้เวลาล้านปีในการ Crack Key นั่นคือเหตุผลที่เรียก AES ว่า "Military Grade Encryption"

BitLocker AES-128 ปลอดภัยแล้ว แต่ยังใช้ BitLocker กับ Key 256-bit ใหญ่กว่าได้ ทำให้ Key ไม่สามารถปลดล็อกได้จริงๆ จะแสดงวิธีสลับเป็น AES-256

BitLocker มี 3 โหมดเข้ารหัส:

• User Authentication Mode โหมดมาตรฐาน เข้ารหัส Drive ต้อง Authentication ก่อนปลดล็อก Authentication เป็น PIN หรือ Password
• Transparent Operation Mode โหมดขั้นสูง ใช้ Trusted Platform Module (TPM) Chip TPM เช็คว่า System Files ไม่ถูกแก้ไขนับตั้งแต่เข้ารหัสด้วย BitLocker หาก System Files ถูก Tamper TPM จะไม่ปลด Key ไม่สามารถกรอก Password ถอดรหัสได้ โหมดนี้สร้าง Security Layer รองบน Drive Encryption
• USB Key Mode ใช้ USB Device ตัวจริง บูทเข้า Drive ที่เข้ารหัส

ตรวจสอบว่า System มี TPM Module หรือไม่

ไม่แน่ใจว่าระบบมี TPM Module? กด Windows Key + R พิมพ์ tpm.msc หากเห็นข้อมูล TPM ของระบบ = มี TPM Module หากเจอ "Compatible TPM cannot be found" (เหมือนผม!) = ไม่มี TPM

ไม่มี TPM ไม่เป็นปัญหา ยังใช้ BitLocker ได้ ดูส่วนถัดไป

ตรวจสอบว่า BitLocker เปิดอยู่หรือไม่

ก่อนเข้าสู่ Tutorial BitLocker Drive Encryption เช็คก่อนว่า BitLocker เปิดอยู่แล้วหรือไม่

พิมพ์ gpedit ในค้นหา Start Menu เลือก Best Match Group Policy Editor จะเปิด (Group Policy คืออะไร และใช้ยังไง?)

ไป Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > BitLocker Drive Encryption > Operating System Drives

เลือก Require additional authentication at startup ตามด้วย Enabled

หากระบบไม่มี TPM Module ที่เข้ากันได้ ติ๊ก Allow BitLocker without a compatible TPM

ใช้ BitLocker Drive Encryption บน Windows 10

ก่อนอื่น พิมพ์ bitlocker ในค้นหา Start Menu เลือก Best Match

เลือก Drive ที่ต้องการให้ BitLocker เข้ารหัส แล้ว Turn BitLocker On

ตอนนี้ Choose how you want to unlock this drive มี 2 ตัวเลือก:

1. ใช้ Password
2. ใช้ Smart Card

เลือกตัวแรก Use a password to unlock the drive

เลือก Password สำหรับ BitLocker

ส่วนสนุก: เลือก Password แข็งแกร่งที่จดจำได้ ตามที่ BitLocker Wizard แนะนำ Password ควรมีตัวพิมพ์ใหญ่/เล็ก ตัวเลข Space และ Symbols ต้องช่วย? ดูวิธีสร้าง Password แข็งแกร่งที่จดจำได้ไม่ลืม

สร้าง Password เรียบร้อย ใส่ และพิมพ์ซ้ำยืนยัน

หน้าถัดไป มีตัวเลือกสร้าง BitLocker Recovery Key Recovery Key เป็น Unique ต่อ Drive และเป็นวิธีเดียว Backup แบบปลอดภัย มี 4 ตัวเลือก ตอนนี้เลือก Save to File เลือกตำแหน่งที่จดจำง่าย กด Next

เข้ารหัสพื้นที่เท่าไหร่ และเลือก Encryption Mode ไหน?

จุดนี้เลือกว่าจะเข้ารหัส Drive มากแค่ไหน

BitLocker Wizard แนะนำเข้ารหัสทั้ง Drive หากใช้งานอยู่แล้ว เพื่อเข้ารหัสข้อมูลทั้งหมด รวมถึงไฟล์ที่ลบแต่ยังอยู่บน Drive แต่หากเข้ารหัส Drive ใหม่ หรือ PC ใหม่ "ต้องเข้ารหัสเฉพาะส่วนที่ใช้งานอยู่" เพราะ BitLocker จะเข้ารหัสข้อมูลใหม่อัตโนมัติเมื่อเพิ่ม

สุดท้าย เลือก Encryption Mode Windows 10 Version 1511 เพิ่ม Disk Encryption Mode ใหม่ คือ XTS-AES XTS-AES ให้ Integrity Support เพิ่ม แต่ไม่เข้ากันได้กับ Windows รุ่นเก่า หาก Drive ที่เข้ารหัสจะอยู่ในระบบนี้ตลอด เลือก XTS-AES Mode ได้ปลอดภัย

หากไม่ (จะเสียบ Drive เข้าเครื่องอื่น) เลือก Compatible Mode

เข้ารหัส Drive ด้วย BitLocker

ถึงหน้าสุดท้าย: เข้ารหัส Drive ด้วย BitLocker เลือก Start encrypting รอจนเสร็จ กระบวนการเข้ารหัสใช้เวลาตามปริมาณข้อมูล

Reboot ระบบ หรือพยายามเข้าถึง Drive ที่เข้ารหัส BitLocker จะขอ Password ของ Drive

ใช้ AES-256 กับ BitLocker

สามารถทำให้ BitLocker ใช้ AES-256 แทน AES-128 แม้ AES-128 Brute Force ใช้เวลานานมาก แต่เพิ่มความแข็งแกร่งอีกนิด

เหตุผลหลักใช้ AES-256 แทน AES-128 คือ ป้องกัน Quantum Computing ในอนาคต Quantum Computing จะแยก Encryption Standards ปัจจุบันได้ง่ายกว่าฮาร์ดแวร์ปัจจุบัน

เปิด Group Policy Editor ไป Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > BitLocker Drive Encryption

เลือก Choose drive encryption method and cipher strength เลือก Enabled ใช้ Dropdown เลือก XTS-AES 256-bit กด Apply เสร็จ
