ควรสร้าง Restore Point ก่อนเริ่มต้น
- คลิกขวา ที่พื้นที่ว่างบน เดสก์ท็อป เลือก New > Shortcut
- ในช่อง "type the location of the item" คัดลอกวางคำสั่งต่อไปนี้ แล้วคลิก Next:
%windir%\system32\control.exe
- ตั้งชื่อ shortcut ตามต้องการ เช่น "Control Panel Shortcut" คลิก Next
- กด Windows Key + E เปิด File Explorer คัดลอกวางคำสั่งต่อไปนี้ใน Address bar แล้วกด Enter:
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\WinX
- จะเห็นโฟลเดอร์: Group 1, Group 2, และ Group 3 ซึ่งเป็น Section ต่างๆ ภายใต้ WinX Menu
- ตัดสินใจว่าจะวาง Control Panel shortcut ใน Group ไหน (เช่น Group 2) คลิกเปิด Group นั้น
- คัดลอก Control Panel shortcut ที่สร้างในขั้นตอน 3 แล้ววางไว้ใน Group 2 folder (หรือ Group ที่เลือก)
- ปิดทุกอย่าง และ รีบูทคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อบันทึกการเปลี่ยนแปลง
- หลังรีสตาร์ท กด Windows Key + X เปิด WinX Menu จะเห็น Control Panel shortcut
