ปิด Dell Data Protection (DDP) Notifications
แก้ไข Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Dell\DDP\TPHideToasters ค่า DWORD = 0 (ปิด) หรือ 1 (เปิด) > Restart คอมพิวเตอร์
ปิด Windows Firewall (บน Dell หรือ PC ทั่วไป)
Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall > Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off > เลือก Turn off (ไม่แนะนำสำหรับ Public Network)
ถอนการติดตั้ง Dell Encryption Enterprise (Windows)
รัน Command Prompt (Admin) > พิมพ์คำสั่ง uninstall ตาม path ที่ติดตั้ง (มักอยู่ที่ C:\Program Files\Dell\Encryption\Enterprise\) หรือใช้ Dell Data Security Uninstaller ที่ดาวน์โหลดจาก Dell Support
ถอนการติดตั้ง Dell Encryption Enterprise (Mac)
- Management Console: ตั้งค่า Dell Volume Encryption Policy = Off > Commit
- Restart Mac > รอ Decrypt เสร็จสิ้น
- ลบ Application ออกจาก Applications Folder
หา Network Security Key บน Laptop Dell
Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Hardware Properties > Security Tab > Show characters > จะเห็น Network Security Key (Wi-Fi Password)

อันตรายของการปิด Firewall
การปิด Firewall ทำให้ แพ็กเก็ตข้อมูลทั้งหมดผ่านได้โดยไม่มีการกรอง รวมถึง Malware, Hacker, Exploits Hardware Firewall ที่ปิดจะส่งผลต่อทุกอุปกรณ์ในเครือข่าย
ควรเปิด Firewall ไว้ตลอดเวลา
Firewall สมัยใหม่ (Windows Defender, macOS) ตรวจสอบแพ็กเก็ตในไมโครวินาที ไม่ทำให้เครื่องช้า ควรเปิดไว้ตลอดเวลา ยกเว้นติดตั้ง Firewall อื่นแทนที่ (เช่น Norton, Bitdefender, Corporate Endpoint Protection)
ถอน Dell Data Protection / Encryption ให้หมด
ใช้ Dell Data Security Uninstaller (Interactive หรือ Command-line) จะลบ Agent, Encryption, Management Components ทั้งหมด Clean Installation ได้
