Network Security Key เมื่อใช้มือถือเป็น Hotspot = Hotspot Password

เมื่อคุณเปิด Mobile Hotspot (Personal Hotspot) บนมือถือ มือถือจะทำหน้าที่เป็น "Wi-Fi Router" เอง Network Security Key ในบริบทนี้ คือรหัสผ่านที่ตั้งไว้ให้ Hotspot นั้นๆ

หา/ตั้งค่า Hotspot Password (Network Security Key) บนมือถือ

Android (Samsung, Google Pixel, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, etc.)

  1. Settings → Network & Internet → Hotspot & Tethering → Wi-Fi Hotspot
  2. (บางรุ่น: Settings → Connections → Mobile Hotspot and Tethering → Mobile Hotspot)
  3. จะเห็น:
    • Hotspot name (SSID) - ชื่อเครือข่าย
    • Hotspot password / Network security key - รหัสผ่าน
    • Security: WPA2-Personal / WPA3-Personal
  4. สามารถกดแก้ไข (Edit) เปลี่ยนชื่อและรหัสผ่านได้ทันที

iPhone / iPad (iOS / iPadOS)

  1. Settings → Personal Hotspot (หรือ Settings → Cellular → Personal Hotspot)
  2. จะเห็น:
    • Wi-Fi Password = Network Security Key
    • สามารถกดเปลี่ยนรหัสผ่านได้ (ต้อง 8+ ตัวอักษร ASCII)
  3. เปิด Allow Others to Join = ON

เชื่อมต่ออุปกรณ์อื่นเข้าสู่ Hotspot

  1. บนอุปกรณ์ที่จะเชื่อมต่อ (Laptop, Tablet, อีกมือถือ): เปิด Wi-Fi Settings
  2. หา SSID (ชื่อ Hotspot) ของมือถือคุณ
  3. คลิกเชื่อมต่อ → ใส่ Network Security Key = Hotspot Password ที่เห็นบนมือถือเจ้าของ Hotspot
  4. Connected!

ความปลอดภัยของ Mobile Hotspot

การตั้งค่าคำแนะนำ
Security ProtocolWPA2-Personal (AES) หรือ WPA3-Personal (iOS 16+/Android 13+)
Password Strengthอย่างน้อย 12 ตัวอักษร ผสมใหญ่/เล็ก/ตัวเลข/สัญลักษณ์
Band2.4 GHz (Relative) / 5 GHz (Faster, Shorter Range) - เลือกได้บางรุ่น
Timeoutตั้ง Auto-off เมื่อไม่มีอุปกรณ์เชื่อมต่อ (ประหยัดแบตเตอรี่/ความปลอดภัย)
Max Connectionsจำกัดจำนวนอุปกรณ์ (มัก 5-10 ตัว)

วิธีดูรหัสผ่าน Hotspot ถ้าลืม (บนมือถือตัวเอง)

  • Android: Settings → Hotspot → ดู/แสดงรหัสผ่าน (มักมีไอคอน 👁)
  • iPhone: Settings → Personal Hotspot → ดู Wi-Fi Password
  • Windows (ที่เคยเชื่อมต่อ): Wi-Fi Settings → Manage Known Networks → Properties → Show characters
  • Mac (ที่เคยเชื่อมต่อ): Keychain Access → ค้นหา SSID Hotspot → Show password

Hotspot vs Tethering (USB/Bluetooth)

  • Wi-Fi Hotspot: ใช้ Network Security Key (Password) - เร็วกว่า รองรับหลายอุปกรณ์
  • USB Tethering: ไม่ต้อง Password (Physical Connection) - เร็วที่สุด เสถียรที่สุด ชาร์จแบตพร้อมกัน
  • Bluetooth Tethering: ไม่ต้อง Password (Pairing) - ช้า ประหยัดแบต

ข้อควรระวัง

  • ใช้ Hotspot บนสาธารณะ → ใครก็เจอ SSID ได้ → ตั้งรหัสผ่านแข็งแกรง
  • ตรวจสอบ Data Plan: Hotspot ใช้ Mobile Data → อาจมีค่าใช้จ่าย/โควต้า
  • แบตเตอรี่ระบายเร็ว → เปิด Power Bank / ชาร์จขณะใช้
  • บาง Carrier บล็อก/จำกัด Hotspot → ต้องเช็คแผน/โทรสอบถาม
