Windows 8: สองการตั้งค่าความปลอดภัยเครือข่ายพื้นฐาน

Windows 8/8.1 มีการจัดการ Network Profile (Location-aware) ที่สำคัญ 2 แบบ ซึ่งกำหนดพฤติกรรม Firewall และ Sharing:

1. Network Profile / Location Type (โปรไฟล์เครือข่าย)

เมื่อเชื่อมต่อเครือข่ายใหม่ Windows จะถาม: "Do you want to find PCs, devices, and content on this network?"

การเปลี่ยน Profile: Settings (Win+I) → Network → Connections → คลิกเครือข่าย → เปลี่ยน "Find devices and content" On/Off

2. Windows Firewall Profiles (โปรไฟล์ไฟร์วอลล์)

Windows Firewall มีกฎแยกตาม 3 Profile (ตรงกับ Network Location):

• Domain Profile: เมื่อเข้าร่วม Domain Controller (Active Directory)
• Private Profile: Network Profile = Private
• Public Profile: Network Profile = Public

การตั้งค่า: Control Panel → System and Security → Windows Firewall → "Advanced settings" → Windows Firewall with Advanced Security → Properties → Tab แต่ละ Profile

การตั้งค่าเพิ่มเติมที่สำคัญ

User Account Control (UAC)

Control Panel → User Accounts → Change User Account Control settings
แนะนำ: Default (Notify me only when apps try to make changes to my computer) หรือ Always notify สำหรับความปลอดภัยสูง

Windows Defender / Antivirus

• Windows 8 มี Windows Defender built-in (Anti-malware)
• ตรวจสอบ: Control Panel → Windows Defender → ตรวจสอบ Real-time protection: On
• หากติดตั้ง AV ตัวอื่น Defender จะปิดอัตโนมัติ

Windows Update

Control Panel → System and Security → Windows Update → "Install updates automatically (recommended)"

SmartScreen Filter

Control Panel → System and Security → Action Center → "Windows SmartScreen" → "Get administrator approval before running an unrecognized app from the internet"

ประเภทบัญชีผู้ใช้ (User Account Types)
