Roku Wi-Fi Direct (Direct Roku) คืออะไร?

Wi-Fi Direct = การเชื่อมต่ออุปกรณ์โดยตรง (Peer-to-Peer) ไม่ต้องมี Router Roku ใช้สำหรับ Remote Control (Roku Remote) และ Screen Mirroring (Miracast) จากโทรศัพท์/คอมพิวเตอร์

🔑 Network Security Key สำหรับ Roku Direct คืออะไร?

  • ไม่ใช่รหัส Wi-Fi บ้าน เป็นรหัสเฉพาะสำหรับการเชื่อมต่อ Direct
  • มักเป็น รหัสตัวเลข 4-8 หลัก หรือ WPA2 Passphrase ที่ Roku สร้างขึ้นเอง
  • หาได้ที่: Settings → System → About → Wi-Fi Direct (บางรุ่น) หรือ Settings → Network → Wi-Fi Direct

📱 หา/ตั้งค่า Roku Wi-Fi Direct

❓ ปัญหาและวิธีแก้

ไม่เจอ SSID "DIRECT-Roku-XXX"
1) Roku ไม่ได้เปิด Wi-Fi Direct → Settings → Network → Wi-Fi Direct → Enable 2) Reboot Roku 3) ระยะไกลเกิน (Wi-Fi Direct Range ~10-20m)
"Incorrect Password" สำหรับ Direct
1) ดู Key ใหม่ที่ Roku Settings (อาจเปลี่ยนไป) 2) ลบ Profile เก่าบนโทรศัพท์ → Connect ใหม่ 3) Reboot ทั้งคู่
Screen Mirroring ไม่ทำงาน
1) ตรวจสอบ Miracast Support (Windows: Win+K, Android: Smart View/Cast) 2) Roku: Settings → System → Screen Mirroring → Prompt/Always Allow 3) Network Profile: Private (Windows)
Remote ไม่ทำงาน (Wi-Fi Direct Remote)
1) Pair ใหม่: Home + Back 5 วิ 2) เปลี่ยนแบตเตอรี่ 3) Reboot Roku

🔐 Roku Account PIN / Password (ต่างจาก Wi-Fi Key)

  • Roku PIN (4 digits): ซื้อ Channel, Parental Control → my.roku.com → PIN Preference
  • Roku Account Password: Login my.roku.com → my.roku.com/password/reset

✅ แนวทางปฏิบัติ

  • ใช้ Regular Wi-Fi สำหรับ Streaming/Internet (เสถียรกว่า)
  • Wi-Fi Direct ใช้เฉพาะ Remote/Mirroring
  • อัปเดต Roku OS อัตโนมัติ
  • Reboot Roku เป็นประจำ (Settings → System → Power → System Restart)
