วิธีเปลี่ยนการตั้งค่าความปลอดภัย Wi-Fi (Network Security) บน Mac

Mac ไม่ได้ "จัดการ Wi-Fi Security" โดยตรง — มันเป็น Client

การตั้งค่า Wi-Fi Security (WPA2/WPA3, Password) ทำที่ Router/Access Point ไม่ใช่บน Mac Mac แค่ "เชื่อมต่อ" โดยใช้ Credentials ที่ Router กำหนด

แต่ Mac สามารถทำได้:

1. ดู Security Type ของ Wi-Fi ที่เชื่อมต่ออยู่

  1. กด Option (⌥) + คลิกไอคอน Wi-Fi ที่ Menu Bar
  2. ดู Security จะแสดง: WPA2 Personal, WPA3 Personal, WPA2/WPA3 Personal, None, WEP (เก่า)
  3. หรือ: System Settings → Network → Wi-Fi → Details (i) → Security

2. ลบ (Forget) Wi-Fi Network ที่มีปัญหา

  1. System Settings → Network → Wi-Fi → Details (i) ถัดจาก SSID
  2. กด Remove From List / Forget This Network
  3. Reconnect → กรอก Password ใหม่

3. จัดการ Known Networks (Priority, Auto-Join)

  1. System Settings → Network → Wi-Fi → Advanced... (หรือ Three Dots ...)
  2. ลากเรียงลำดับ Priority, ติ๊ก/ยกเลิก Auto-Join

4. สร้าง/จัดการ Wi-Fi Hotspot จาก Mac (Internet Sharing)

  1. System Settings → General → Sharing → Internet Sharing
  2. Share your connection from: Ethernet / iPhone USB / Thunderbolt Bridge
  3. To computers using: ☑ Wi-Fi
  4. Wi-Fi Options: Security: WPA2/WPA3 Personal → ตั้ง Password → OK
  5. เปิด Internet Sharing → Start

วิธีเปลี่ยน Wi-Fi Security จริงๆ (ที่ Router)

ทำบน Router ไม่ใช่ Mac — ขั้นตอนทั่วไป:

  1. หา Router IP: Terminal → `netstat -nr | grep default` → IP หลัง `default` (เช่น 192.168.1.1)
  2. Browser → Router IP → Login (admin/password บนสติ๊กเกอร์)
  3. เมนู: Wireless → Wireless Security / Security Settings
  4. เลือก: WPA2-PSK (AES) หรือ WPA2/WPA3 Mixed (หรือ WPA3 Only ถ้าอุปกรณ์รองรับหมด)
  5. ตั้ง Passphrase / Password ใหม่
  6. Save/Apply → Reboot Router หากจำเป็น

Troubleshooting: Mac เชื่อมต่อ Wi-Fi ไม่ได้ / Key Mismatch

  1. Forget Network → Reconnect
  2. Restart Wi-Fi (Toggle On/Off)
  3. Restart Mac
  4. Reset Network Settings: System Settings → Network → Wi-Fi → ... → Reset Network Settings (ลบ Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VPN ทั้งหมด)
  5. Delete Keychain Entry: Keychain Access → ค้นหา SSID → Delete → Reconnect
  6. ตรวจสอบ Router: Security Mode = WPA2-AES / WPA2/WPA3 Mixed, ไม่ใช่ TKIP/WEP
  7. Update macOS (Software Update)

สรุป

Mac ไม่ได้ตั้งค่า Wi-Fi Security — มันเป็น Client ที่เชื่อมต่อไปที่ Router การ "เปลี่ยน Network Security" ต้องทำที่ Router Web UI/App ส่วน Mac ช่วย ดู Security Type, Forget Network, จัดการ Priority, สร้าง Hotspot, ใช้ Passkeys, และ Troubleshoot ได้
