CableWiFi เป็นเครือข่าย Wi-Fi สาธารณะร่วมกันของผู้ให้บริการเคเบิลอเมริกันรวมกัน: Cox, Optimum (Altice), Spectrum (Charter), Xfinity (Comcast) ให้ลูกค้าสมาชิกใช้งานฟรีที่ Hotspot หลายพันจุดทั่วสหรัฐอเมริка
CableWiFi ใช้ Security Type อะไร?
- Enterprise/802.1X (WPA2-Enterprise / WPA3-Enterprise): ใช้ RADIUS Authentication - ลูกค้าล็อกอินด้วย Username/Password ของบัญชี ISP (ไม่ใช่ PSK)
- Passpoint / Hotspot 2.0: เชื่อมต่ออัตโนมัติผ่าน SIM/Profile บนมือถือ (EAP-AKA/EAP-SIM)
- ไม่ใช้ WPA2-Personal (PSK): ไม่มีรหัสผ่านเดียวสำหรับทุกคน
วิธีตรวจสอบ Security Type ของ Wi-Fi ที่เชื่อมต่ออยู่

2. ดู Security type (จะแสดง: WPA2-Personal, WPA3-Personal, WPA2-Enterprise, WPA3-Enterprise, WEP, Open)

Xfinity/Comcast Wi-Fi Security
- Xfinity WiFi (Public Hotspot): Open / Captive Portal (ไม่เข้ารหัส - ใช้ VPN)
- Xfinity Mobile / xFi Gateway (Private): WPA2-PSK (AES) หรือ WPA2/WPA3 Mixed
- Xfinity WiFi Secure (Passpoint): WPA2-Enterprise / WPA3-Enterprise (EAP-SIM/AKA)
WEP vs WPA Key: ต่างกันยังไง?
- WEP Key: 10 หรือ 26 ตัวอักษร Hexadecimal (0-9, A-F) หรือ 5/13 ตัว ASCII - แตกง่าย
- WPA/WPA2 Passphrase: 8-63 ตัวอักษร ASCII (รหัสผ่านปกติ) - แปลงเป็น 256-bit Key ด้วย PBKDF2
- WPA3 SAE: ใช้ Simultaneous Authentication of Equals กัน Offline Dictionary Attack
วิธีเปลี่ยน WEP เป็น WPA2/WPA3 บนเราเตอร์

1. เข้า Router Admin (192.168.1.1 ฯลฯ)
2. Wireless > Security Settings
3. เลือก WPA2-PSK (AES) หรือ WPA2/WPA3 Mixed
4. ใส่ Passphrase ใหม่ (12+ ตัวอักษร)
5. Save > Reboot Router
6. เชื่อมต่ออุปกรณ์ทั้งหมดใหม่

- ลูกค้า Cox/Optimum/Spectrum/Xfinity: ดาวน์โหลด App ของ ISP ตัวเอง (Cox WiFi, Optimum WiFi, Spectrum WiFi, Xfinity WiFi) จะเชื่อมต่อ CableWiFi อัตโนมัติ
- บน iOS/Android: ติดตั้ง Profile Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) จาก App ISP - เชื่อมต่ออัตโนมัติ ไม่ต้องล็อกอินซ้ำ
- บน Public CableWiFi: ใช้ VPN เสมอ เพราะเป็นเครือข่ายร่วม
