วิธีหา Network Security Key บน Windows XP Home Edition

Windows XP — End of Life (EOL) Warning ⚠️

Windows XP หยุดรองรับนับตั้งแต่ 8 เมษายน 2014 ไม่มี Security Updates, ไม่รองรับ WPA3, TLS 1.2/1.3, Modern Ciphers ไม่ควรใช้เชื่อมต่อ Internet/Production Network บทความนี้เพื่อการศึกษา/Legacy System เท่านั้น

วิธีหา Network Security Key บน Windows XP (หากเชื่อมต่อ Wi-Fi อยู่แล้ว)

วิธีที่ 1: Wireless Network Properties (GUI)

  1. Start → Control Panel → Network Connections
  2. คลิกขวา Wireless Network Connection → Properties
  3. แท็บ Wireless Networks
  4. เลือก Network ที่เชื่อมต่อ (Preferred Networks) → Properties
  5. แท็บ Association → ดู Network key (Password) — Windows XP แสดงเป็นดอกตา (Masked) ไม่มีปุ่ม Show Characters

ข้อจำกัด: XP ไม่แสดงรหัสผ่านแบบ Plain Text ใน GUI (ไม่เหมือน Vista/7/8/10/11)

วิธีที่ 2: Command Line (Netsh) — XP SP2/SP3

  1. Start → Run → `cmd`
  2. พิมพ์: netsh wlan show profiles — ไม่ทำงานบน XP (netsh wlan เพิ่มใน Vista+)
  3. XP ใช้ Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) เก็บ Profile ใน Registry

วิธีที่ 3: Registry (สำหรับ XP)

  1. Start → Run → `regedit`
  2. ไปที่: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WZCSVC\Parameters\Interfaces\[Interface GUID]\
  3. หา Key: Static#00000001 (หรือเลขลำดับ) → Value: KeyMaterial (Hex Encoded)
  4. ต้อง Decode Hex → ASCII (ใช้ Tool/Script) — ซับซ้อนและ Error-prone

วิธีที่ 4: ใช้ Third-party Tool (ง่ายกว่า)

  • WirelessKeyView (NirSoft) — Portable, Free, รองรับ XP/Vista/7/8/10/11 — แสดง SSID, Key Type, Key (Hex/Ascii)
  • WiFi Password Revealer — GUI ใช้ง่าย

ดาวน์โหลดจาก USB Drive ที่สะอาด (XP ไม่ควร Browse Web โดยตรง)

วิธีเชื่อมต่อ Wi-Fi บน Windows XP (Refresher)

  1. Control Panel → Network Connections
  2. คลิกขวา Wireless Network Connection → Properties
  3. แท็บ Wireless Networks → ติ๊ก "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings"
  4. Add → SSID, Network Authentication (WPA2-PSK / WPA-PSK), Data Encryption (AES / TKIP), Network Key (Password)
  5. OK ทุกหน้าต่าง

หมายเหตุ: XP SP3 รองรับ WPA2-AES (ต้องมี Hotfix KB893357) แต่ไม่รองรับ WPA3, SAE, PMF

วิธีเปิดใช้งาน Wi-Fi Adapter บน XP

  1. Control Panel → Network Connections
  2. คลิกขวา Wireless Network Connection → Enable
  3. หากไม่มี → Device Manager → Network Adapters → Enable Wireless Adapter
  4. หรือปุ่ม Hardware Switch บน Laptop (Fn+F2/F5/Slide Switch)

แนะนำ: ขยับออกจาก Windows XP

  • Security Risk: Zero-day Exploits, No Patches, Malware Target
  • Compatibility: Modern Wi-Fi (WPA3, 802.11ax/be), TLS 1.3, Modern Web ไม่ทำงาน
  • Upgrade Path: Windows 10/11 LTSC (Long-term Servicing), Linux (Ubuntu LTS, Linux Mint, Debian), ChromeOS Flex
  • หากบังคับใช้ Legacy App: VirtualBox/VMware VM (Isolated, No Network / Host-only), หรือ Windows 10/11 + Compatibility Mode

สรุป

Windows XP ไม่มี GUI Show Password ใช้ WirelessKeyView (NirSoft) เป็นวิธีง่ายที่สุด หรือ Registry (ยุ่งยาก) ข้อแนะนำเด็ดขาด: ยกเลิกใช้ XP, Upgrade OS, หรือ Isolate ใน VM เพื่อความปลอดภัย
