Windstream / Kinetic Internet: หา Network Security Key (Wi-Fi Password)
วิธีที่ 1: ดูสติ๊กเกอร์บน Modem/Router (Gateway) - เร็วที่สุด
- Windstream ใช้ Gateway รุ่นต่างๆ (Actiontec, Technicolor, Arris, Sagemcom, Zyxel, Windstream-branded)
- พลิกอุปกรณ์ ดูด้านล่าง/ด้านหลัง หาข้อความ:
- Network Key / Passphrase / WPA2 Key / Wi-Fi Password / Security Key / Wireless Password
- SSID / Network Name / Wireless Network Name (มักมี 2 ตัว: 2.4GHz และ 5GHz เช่น Kinetic_2Gxxx, Kinetic_5Gxxx)
- Key มักเป็นตัวอักษร/ตัวเลขสุ่ม 12-16 ตัว (Case-sensitive)
วิธีที่ 2: เข้าหน้าจัดการ Gateway (Web Interface)
- เชื่อมต่อคอมพิวเตอร์กับ Gateway (LAN Cable แนะนำ)
- เปิดเบราว์เซอร์ → พิมพ์ 192.168.254.254 (Windstream Default Gateway IP ส่วนใหญ่) หรือ 192.168.1.1 / 192.168.0.1
- ล็อกอิน:
- Username: admin
- Password: admin / password / (ดูสติ๊กเกอร์ "Admin Password" / "System Password" / "Gateway Password")
- ไปที่เมนู Wireless/Wi-Fi Settings:
- Actiontec (T3200, T3260, etc.): Wireless Setup → Basic/SSID Setup / Wireless Security
- Technicolor / Sagemcom: Wi-Fi → Wireless Network / Security
- Arris / Surfboard: Wireless → Primary Network / Security
- Zyxel: Network Setting → Wireless → SSID / Security

- SSID Name
- Security Mode: WPA2-PSK (AES) / WPA2/WPA3-Personal
- Passphrase / WPA Passphrase / Network Key → ติ๊ก Show Password
วิธีที่ 3: ใช้แอป Windstream / Kinetic (ถ้ามี)
- ดาวน์โหลด Kinetic by Windstream หรือ Windstream App (iOS/Android)
- ล็อกอินด้วย Account Windstream
- เมนู Wi-Fi / My Network → จะเห็น SSID และ Password / Network Key
- สามารถเปลี่ยน SSID/Password ได้จากแอป
วิธีที่ 4: หาบนคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เคยเชื่อมต่อ (Windows/Mac)
Windows 10/11: Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced network settings → Network and Sharing Center → คลิก Wi-Fi Name → Wireless Properties → Security → Show characters
Mac: Keychain Access (Cmd+Space → Keychain) → ค้นหา SSID → Double-click → Show password (ต้องใส่ Mac Password)

หมายเหตุ: Windstream มักตั้ง Admin Password ให้เป็นค่าเฉพาะตัวต่ออุปกรณ์ (Unique) พิมพ์บนสติ๊กเกอร์ด้านล่าง ใต้ "Admin Password" หรือ "System Password" หาก admin/admin ไม่ได้ ให้ลอง Password นั้น
เปลี่ยน Wi-Fi Password (แนะนำทำทันที)
- ล็อกอิน Web Interface หรือ App
- ไปที่ Wireless Settings → Security
- Security Mode: WPA2-PSK (AES) หรือ WPA2/WPA3-Personal
- Passphrase: ใส่ Password ใหม่ ≥ 12 ตัวอักษร (Complex)
- Save/Apply → Reconnect อุปกรณ์ทั้งหมด
คำถามที่พบบ่อย
Q: เข้า 192.168.254.254 ไม่ได้?
A: ลอง 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1, ตรวจสอบ Default Gateway จาก ipconfig, Disable VPN/Proxy, ใช้ Browser อื่น, ใช้ LAN Cable
Q: ลืม Admin Password ของ Gateway?
A: ดูสติ๊กเกอร์ "Admin Password" / "System Password" → ถ้าไม่มี/เปลี่ยนไปแล้ว → ต้อง Factory Reset (กดปุ่ม Reset ค้าง 10-15 วินาที จนไฟกระพริบ) → Setup ใหม่ทั้งหมด
Q: มี 2 SSID (2.4G และ 5G) ต้องตั้ง Password ให้ต่างกันไหม?
A: ไม่จำเป็น** สามารถตั้งให้เหมือนกันได้ (Band Steering จะจัดการการเชื่อมต่ออัตโนมัติ) แต่ตั้งต่างกันก็ได้เพื่อแยกการจัดการ
