Authenticator มี Firefox และ Microsoft Edge versions เหนื่อยที่ไม่มี Safari authenticator extension คล้ายกัน

4. Secrets
Password managers หลายตัวตอนนี้ double up เป็น authenticator apps Secrets หนึ่งในนั้น ทำให้ setup 2FA codes ง่าย
เพิ่ม 2FA account เข้า Secrets 先加 password entry สำหรับ account via File > New Item หรือ File > New > Login ใน One-Time Password (OTP) field สำหรับ entry คลิก QR code scanner icon capture QR code ใน active tab ใน Safari หรือ browser อื่นที่เปิดอยู่
กด Done save password entry Fresh OTP โผล่ใน One-Time Password field ทุกครั้ง
(Ensure ไม่มี multiple browsers เปิด active tabs แสดง QR codes accounts ต่างกัน Secrets ดูเหมือน capture code จาก tab ที่เปิดก่อน อาจสร้าง confusion)
ถ้าอยาก enable 2FA setup สำหรับ password ที่สร้างไว้ใน Secrets แล้ว คลิก Edit button สำหรับ entry แล้วเพิ่ม QR code จำได้กด Done button ท้ายสุด save changes
จำไว้ ถ้ามี Setapp subscription ไม่ต้องจ่ายแยกสำหรับ premium version ของ Secrets app

5. KeePassXC
ถ้าชอบ open-source solution ลอง KeePassXC อีก password management app ที่เป็น 2FA macOS app
เพิ่ม 2FA account เข้า KeePassXC หลังเปิด app:
- คลิก Create new database setup password database ด้วย secure master password (ไม่ต้องทำถ้าใช้ KeePassXC เป็น password manager อยู่แล้ว)
- Create password entry สำหรับ 2FA account คลิก Entries > New entry ใส่ login credentials ที่ต้องการ
- คลิก OK save entry แล้ว save changes to database
- คลิก TOTP > Set up TOTP จาก context menu สำหรับ account
- Scan QR code ที่ online account generate ให้ permission generate TOTPs
Setup 2FA account เสร็จ ได้ TOTPs ผ่าน TOTP > Copy TOTP และ TOTP > Show TOTP sub-menu options ใน context menu Import passwords จาก 1Password, CSV file, หรือ KeePass 1 ได้
