- คลิกขวา taskbar
- Hover News and Interests
- เลือก Hidden option
Disable หรือ Enable News and Interests on Taskbar
เปิด/ปิด News and Interests บน Taskbar ใน Windows 10 2 วิธี:
- Via Local Group Policy Editor
- Via Registry Editor

ก่อนเริ่ม เช็ค updates ให้แน่ใจว่า run latest version/build ของ Windows 10 ฟีเจอร์นี้ยัง rollout อยู่

1] Local Group Policy Editor
เปิด/ปิด News and Interests บน Taskbar ใน Windows 10 ด้วย Local Group Policy Editor:
- กด Windows key + R เรียก Run dialog
- พิมพ์ gpedit.msc Enter เปิด Group Policy Editor
- ใน Local Group Policy Editor ใช้ left pane ไปที่ path:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > News and interests
- ด้านขวา คลิกสองครั้ง Enable news and interests on the taskbar entry เพื่อ edit properties
- ใน properties window ตั้ง radio button เป็น Not Configured, Enabled หรือ Disabled ตามต้องการ
Note: ถ้าทิ้ง Not Configured ประสบการณ์จะ enabled by default
- คลิก Apply > OK บันทึก
- Exit Group Policy Editor
Windows 10 Home users สามารถเพิ่ม Local Group Policy Editor feature แล้วทำตามข้างต้น หรือใช้ registry method ด้านล่าง
TIP: ทำให้ default browser เปิด News and Interests links; ไม่ใช่ Edge

เปิด/ปิด News and Interests บน Taskbar ใน Windows 10 ด้วย Registry Editor:
เนื่องจากเป็น Registry operation แนะนำ backup registry หรือสร้าง system restore point ก่อน ดำเนินการต่อ:
- กด Windows key + R เรียก Run dialog
- พิมพ์ regedit Enter เปิด Registry Editor
- ไปที่ registry key path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Feeds
- ที่ location คลิกขวา blank space ด้านขวา New > DWORD (32-bit) Value
- เปลี่ยนชื่อ value name เป็น ShellFeedsTaskbarViewMode Enter
- คลิกสองครั้ง value ใหม่ edit properties
- ใน Properties window ใส่ 0 (Show icon and text) หรือ 1 (Show only icon) หรือ 2 (Hide everything) ใน Value data ตามต้องการ
- คลิก OK หรือ Enter บันทึก
- Restart PC
