บล็อก Driver Updates ผ่าน Windows Quality Update ด้วย Registry หรือ Group Policy Editor

บล็อก Driver Updates ผ่าน Windows Quality Update

ยกเว้น Driver Updates จาก Windows Quality Updates ได้ 2 วิธี Native:

1. ใช้ Group Policy
2. ใช้ Registry Editor

1. ใช้ Group Policy

ฟีเจอร์นี้มีใน Pro และ Enterprise Editions ของ Windows 10 Home Edition ต้องเพิ่ม Group Policy Editor ก่อน (มีบทความแนะนำ) ขั้นตอน:

1. เปิด Group Policy
2. เข้าโฟลเดอร์ Windows Update
3. หา Setting Do not include drivers with Windows Updates
4. เลือก Enabled
5. Save Changes

เปิด Group Policy (ค้นหา gpedit.msc) ไปที่ Path:

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update

ขวา Scroll ลง Double-click Do not include drivers with Windows Updates จะเปิดหน้าต่างใหม่

Enable this policy to not include drivers with Windows quality updates. If you disable or do not configure this policy, Windows Update will include updates that have a Driver classification.

คลิก Radio Button Enabled กด OK Save

Setting ใหม่มีผล Windows Updates จะไม่รวม Driver Updates

เพื่อยกเลิก ให้ทำซ้ำ แล้วเลือก Not Configured/Disabled Save

2. ใช้ Registry Editor

ก่อนใช้ Backup Registry ก่อน เผื่อผิดพลาด แล้วทำตาม:

1. เปิด Windows 10 Registry Editor
2. เข้า Key Windows
3. สร้าง Key WindowsUpdate
4. สร้าง DWORD Value ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate
5. Set Value Data = 1 เพื่อปิด Driver Updates ใน Quality Updates
6. Set Value Data = 0 เพื่อเปิด Driver Updates ใน Windows Updates

เปิด Registry Editor ไป Path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows

ใน Windows Key สร้าง Key ใหม่ ชื่อ WindowsUpdate

ภายใต้ WindowsUpdate Key สร้าง DWORD Value: คลิกขวาว่าง > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value > ระบุชื่อ ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate

Double-click ค่านั้น ใส่ 1 ใน Value Data กด OK รีสตาร์ท PC เพื่อ Apply

เพื่อเปิด Driver Updates อีกครั้ง ทำซ้ำ ใส่ 0 ใน Value Data กด OK รีสตาร์ท
