Microsoft นำเสนอ Data Execution Prevention (DEP) ฟีเจอร์ความปลอดภัยที่ตรวจสอบโปรแกรมเป็นระยะ เพื่อป้องกันความเสียหายจากการใช้หน่วยความจำผิดปกติ มีใน Windows Server, 11, 10, 8, 7 หากพบโปรแกรมใช้หน่วยความจำผิด DEP จะปิดโปรแกรมและแจ้งเตือน
หากต้องการปิด DEP ทั่วไป ทำได้เสมอ แต่หากต้องการปิด DEP สำหรับโปรแกรมเฉพาะ เช่น explorer.exe ทำได้ดังนี้
ปิด Data Execution Prevention สำหรับโปรแกรมเฉพาะ
- เปิด File Explorer คลิกขวา This PC/Computer > Properties > Advanced System settings
- แท็บ Advanced > ปุ่ม Settings ใต้ Performance
- แท็บ Data Execution Prevention จะมี 2 ตัวเลือก:
- Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services
- Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select
- เลือก Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select
- คลิก Add
- ไปโฟลเดอร์ Program Files หาไฟล์ .exe ของโปรแกรม
- คลิก Open
- Apply และออก
โปรแกรมที่เลือกจะมี DEP ปิด ส่วนอื่นๆ ยังเปิดอยู่
วิธีนี้ใช้ปิด DEP สำหรับ Explorer ได้ด้วย โดยไปที่ C:\Windows เลือก explorer.exe
