1. Restart Computer

12. Create a new User Account

13. Re-register the Cortana app

เปิด PowerShell ด้วยสิทธิ์ Admin พิมพ์คำสั่งด้านล่าง Enter:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

หรือเปิด Task Manager > File > Run new task พิมพ์ powershell ติ๊ก Create this task with administrative privileges OK

14. Rebuild the Windows Search Indexer

Rebuild Search Indexer ช่วยซ่อม Search built-in ไปที่ Control Panel > Indexing options คลิก Advanced ตรวจสอบว่าอยู่ที่แท็บ Index Settings ใน Advanced Options

15. Uninstall programs that may affect the taskbar

หากใช้ Dropbox ลอง Uninstall ดู

PS: อ่านคอมเมนต์ด้านล่าง PeacefulArgument แจ้งว่าปัญหาหายหลังเปิดใช้งาน Windows Firewall Service อีกครั้ง

หากทำตามข้อเสนอข้างต้น Cortana และ Taskbar Search ควรทำงานได้แล้ว

16. Run CTFMON.exe

เป็นกระบวนการ Windows ควบคุม Alternative User Input และ Office Language bar หากหยุดทำงาน จะมีปัญหาการป้อนคีย์บอร์ด โดยเฉพาะภาษาเอเชีย

17. Change Keyboard Language

ลองเปลี่ยนภาษาอื่นดู หากทำงานได้ ให้ติดตั้ง Language pack เดิมใหม่

18. Enable Search Service

เปิด Run พิมพ์ Services.msc Enter หา Windows Search service คลิกขวา Start หรือ Restart ตามสถานะ

19. Use System Restore

หากปัญหาเกิดเมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ ใช้ System Restore กลับไปจุดที่ทำงานปกติ การเปลี่ยนแปลงเล็กน้อยหรือติดตั้งซอฟต์แวร์อาจรบกวน Search service

20. Check your Internet connection

หากใช้ Search ที่แสดงผลจากอินเทอร์เน็ต ตรวจสอบว่าเชื่อมต่ออินเทอร์เน็ตปกติ

21. Uninstall recent Windows updates

Windows Update บ่อยครั้งก่อให้เกิดปัญหา หากเพิ่งติดตั้ง Update ใหม่ ให้ Uninstall ไปที่ Windows Update > Update History จด Update ล่าสุด คลิก Uninstall Updates แล้วลบ
