แก้ไข "Microsoft Edge can't be opened using the built-in administrator account" ใน Windows 10

หาก Login ด้วย Built-in Administrator Account** จะไม่สามารถเปิด Microsoft Edge และ Universal Apps ได้ จะขึ้นข้อความ: "This app can't open. Microsoft Edge can't be opened using the Built-in Administrator account."

วิธีแก้ไข (Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise/Education)

  1. รัน secpol.msc (Local Security Policy)
  2. ไปที่: Local Policies > Security Options
  3. หา User Account Control: Admin Approval Mode for the Built-in Administrator account
  4. ดับเบิลคลิก > เลือก Enabled > Apply/OK
  5. แก้ไข Microsoft Edge can t be opened using the built-in administrator account ใน Windows 10

Windows 10 Home (ใช้ Registry)

  1. สร้าง Restore Point > regedit
  2. ไป: 
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
  3. สร้าง DWORD FilterAdministratorToken = 0
  4. ไป: 
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\UIPI
  5. เปลี่ยน Default REG_SZ จาก Value not set เป็น 0x00000001 (1)

ปรับ UAC Setting

Control Panel > User Accounts > Change UAC Settings > Slider: ตำแหน่งที่ 3 จากล่าง (Default) > OK > Restart

✅ หลัง Reboot จะเปิด Edge ได้แล้ว
