จากการสำรวจ 3PL Selection and Contracting Survey โดย EFT เปิดเผย 19.2% ของ Manufacturer และ Retailer ใช้ 3D Printing แล้ว โดย 1.5% ให้ Expert Knowledge/Services ของคนสำรวจ 2.6% มี Comprehensive Knowledge, 1.5% Complete Knowledge, 12% Some Knowledge, 7.5% วางแผนจะมี Knowledge/Services
เทคโนโลยีนี้จะกระตุ้น Local/Regional Production คาดว่า 3D Printing Centers จะขึ้นใกล้ตลาดขาย สามารถรองรับ Custom Requests ระหว่างการผลิต
ไม่เหมือนปัจจุบัน ด้วย 3D Printing Replacement Parts จะเก็บเป็น Data Models ใน Virtual Warehouses และ Print On-Demand แทนที่จะส่ง Finished Products ครึ่งโลก จะส่งสินค้าน้อยลง ส่วนที่เหลือ Print ใกล้ Consumer

Drone Delivery กระตุ้นการพูดคุยมาตั้งแต่ Amazon ส่ง Drone ครั้งแรก Cambridge, UK เป็น Beta Test ตามศึกษา 31% Manufacturer/Retailer อยากให้ Logistics Companies ใช้ Drone ส่งสินค้า
