User Account คืออะไร?
Account ที่ sign in เข้า Windows เก็บ settings, apps, customizations, files ฯลฯ Administrator account = ควบคุมทุกอย่าง (เหมือน sudo ใน Linux) ต้องมี password แข็ง แชร์ไม่ได้
Best practice: ไม่ใช้ Admin account ทุกวัน สร้าง Standard account ใช้ประจำวัน หากลืม sign out คนอื่นเข้ามา = ไม่ได้เปลี่ยน system settings (UAC disabled by default แต physical access = enable ได้ง่าย)
User account เหมาะสำหรับ: แขก, เพื่อนร่วมห้อง, พ่อแม่, Cookie Monster สร้าง Guest accounts แยกกัน Admin ลบได้ทุกเวลา (เช่นโหลด Justin Bieber videos = banned!)
สร้าง Account ใหม่
Start Menu > พิมพ์ "User Accounts" เข้าหน้าจัดการ ใน Windows 7/8/10 หน้าต่างคล้ายกัน
Make changes to my account in PC Settings
- Windows 7: เปลี่ยนได้ใน Control Panel นี้เลย (ไม่มี MS Account)
- Windows 8/10: เปิด Settings app > Accounts (หรือ Win+I > Accounts) เปลี่ยนรูป, Manage MS Account, Sign in with a local account instead (กรอก user/pass/hint ใหม่) สลับกลับมา MS Account ได้ง่าย
Change Your Account Type
Promote Standard → Admin หรือ Demote Admin → Standard (ต้องมี Admin อย่างน้อย 1 ตัว)
Manage Another Account
Add user: Child (มี parental controls: restrict websites, Store apps), Adult, Guest Other users = guests ใช้ account ของตัวเอง Assigned Access (Kiosk Mode) = restrict ให้รันแค่ 1 Windows Store app (ไม่ปิด/เปิดอื่นได้)
Change User Account Control Settings
UAC slider: ควบคุมระดับแจ้งเตือนตอน install programs (overt/covert) แนะนำ default level
Sign-in Options (Windows 10 Local Account)
Settings > Sign-in Options: Password, PIN (อ่อนกว่า password, 4 digits = 10,000 combos ~20 ชม. brute force ควร 6 digits, หลีกเลี่ยง 123456), Picture Password (วาดบนจอ: circles, lines, taps - เหมาะ tablet, ต้องจดท่าทุกท่า, fingerprint บนจออาจโดนแฮก)
