วิธี Uninstall Windows Essentials 2012 ให้หมดสิ้น

Windows Essentials (ก่อนหน้า Windows Live Essentials) ชุดแอปฟรี Microsoft: อีเมล, เมสเซนเจอร์, แชร์รูป, บล็อก, Parental control เวอร์ชันล่าสุด 2012 ประกอบด้วย Mail, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, OneDrive, Writer, Messenger Microsoft หยุดสนับสนุน 10 ม.ค. 2017

ปัญหา: Uninstall ผ่าน Programs and Features แล้ว รัน Installer ใหม่ ให้เลือกติดตั้งอย่างเดียว (ไม่มี Repair/Remove) บอกว่าติดตั้งแล้ว แต่จริงๆ ไม่ได้ติดตั้งหรือปัญหาคงอยู่ ต้องการลบให้หมดสิ้นเพื่อ Reinstall ใหม่

วิธีที่ 1: Uninstall ด้วย Command Prompt

ขั้นตอน 1: รัน Fix it Tool

เครื่องมือ Microsoft หาโปรแกรมที่ Uninstall แล้วใน Registry บังคับ Uninstall ลบ Registry key ที่เสีย แก้ปัญหาบล็อกการติดตั้งใหม่

1. ดาวน์โหลด Fix it Tool จาก Microsoft
2. Double-click รัน > Next > รอ Scan
3. เลือก Uninstalling > Next
4. เลือก Windows Essentials ถ้ามีในรายการ > Next > Yes, try to uninstall

ขั้นตอน 2: Uninstall ผ่าน Command Prompt

1. Win + ค้นหา Command > คลิกขวา > Run as administrator
2. รันคำสั่ง:
   64-bit: C:\program files (x86)\windows live\installer\wlarp.exe /cleanup:all /q
   32-bit: C:\program files\windows live\installer\wlarp.exe /cleanup:all /q
3. รอ Dialog box แสดงสถานะจนเสร็จ

วิธีที่ 2: รัน Windows Live Essentials Uninstaller โดยตรง

1. ไปที่พาธ:
   64-bit: C:\program files (x86)\windows live\installer\
   32-bit: C:\program files\windows live\installer\wlarp.exe
2. หา wlarp.exe > คลิกขวา > Run as Administrator
3. ทำตามหน้าจอจนเสร็จ
4. หา wlarp.exe ไม่เจอ ให้ดาวน์โหลด Offline Installer จาก Wayback Machine (Microsoft ลบไปแล้ว)
5. Double-click รัน > เลือก Features to uninstall > Finish

วิธีที่ 3: ลบโฟลเดอร์ Windows Live (ขั้นสุดท้าย)

ลองวิธี 1-2 ใน Safe Mode หรือ Clean Boot ก่อน ถ้ายังไม่ได้:

1. File Explorer ไป:
   64-bit: C:\program files (x86)\
   32-bit: C:\program files\windows live\
2. หาโฟลเดอร์ Windows Live > Delete
3. Control Panel > Uninstall a program
4. หา Windows Live Essentials > Select > Uninstall > ทำตามหน้าจอ
