UEFI แทนที่ Legacy BIOS: รองรับดิสก์ >2TB, บูทเร็ว (Fast Startup), Secure Boot, GPT Partition. ตรวจสอบได้ 4 วิธี

4 วิธีตรวจสอบ Boot Mode

เตรียม: สร้าง Restore Point

วิธีที่ 1: System Information (msinfo32) — ง่ายที่สุด

1. Win + R → msinfo32 → Enter
2. เลือก System Summary → ดู BIOS Mode: UEFI หรือ Legacy

วิธีที่ 2: setupact.log (Log การติดตั้ง)

1. เปิด C:\Windows\Panther\setupact.log (Notepad)
2. Ctrl + F ค้นหา Detected boot environment
3. ค่า: EFI = UEFI / BIOS = Legacy

วิธีที่ 3: Command Prompt (bcdedit)

1. Win + X → Command Prompt (Admin)
2. bcdedit → Enter
3. ดู section Windows Boot Loader → path:

• \Windows\system32\winload.exe = Legacy BIOS
• \Windows\system32\winload.efi = UEFI

วิธีที่ 4: Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc)

1. Win + R → diskmgmt.msc → Enter
2. ดู Partition บนดิสก์ระบบ:

• มี EFI System Partition (100-500 MB, FAT32) = UEFI
• มี System Reserved (ไม่มี EFI partition) = Legacy BIOS
