ทำไม Windows 10 ขอ Network Security Key สำหรับ Mobile Hotspot? วิธีหาและแก้ไข

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot: Network Security Key คือรหัสอะไร?

เมื่อเปิด Mobile Hotspot บน Windows 10/11 ระบบจะสร้าง Wi-Fi Network ขึ้นใหม่ Network Security Key ในที่นี้ = รหัสผ่าน Hotspot นั้นเอง (ไม่ใช่รหัส Wi-Fi ที่เชื่อมต่ออยู่)

🔍 หา/ดู/เปลี่ยน Hotspot Password บน Windows 10/11

วิธี 1: Settings App (ง่ายที่สุด)

  1. Win + I > Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot
  2. ดูที่ Network name (SSID) และ Network password (Network Security Key)
  3. กด Edit เพื่อเปลี่ยน SSID/Password/Band (2.4/5 GHz)

วิธี 2: Command Prompt (Admin)

netsh wlan show hostednetwork setting=security
# ดู: Network name (SSID), Authentication, Cipher, Passphrase (Security Key)

วิธี 3: Network Connections (Classic)

  1. ncpa.cpl (Win+R)
  2. หา Adapter ชื่อ Local Area Connection* X (Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter)
  3. คลิกขวา > Status > Wireless Properties > Security > ☑ Show characters

📱 หา Hotspot Security Key บน Android/iPhone (ถ้า Share จากมือถือ)

  • Android: Settings > Network & Internet > Hotspot & Tethering > Wi-Fi Hotspot > Hotspot Password
  • iOS: Settings > Personal Hotspot > Wi-Fi Password

❓ ทำไม Windows ถึงขอ Network Security Key?

  • คุณพยายามเชื่อมต่ออุปกรณ์อื่น (มือถือ, แท็บเล็ต, Smart TV) เข้าสู่ Hotspot ของ Windows
  • อุปกรณ์เหล่านั้นต้องกรอกรหัสผ่าน Hotspot นี้เพื่อเชื่อมต่อ
  • Default: Windows สร้างรหัสสุ่ม 8 ตัวอักษร (แนะนำให้เปลี่ยนเป็นรหัสแข็งแรง)

🔧 แก้ไขปัญหา Hotspot ไม่ทำงาน / เชื่อมต่อไม่ได้

  1. Update Wi-Fi Driver: Device Manager > Network Adapters > Update (Intel/Realtek/MediaTek)
  2. Reset Network: Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Reset
  3. Check Hosted Network Support: netsh wlan show drivers → "Hosted network supported: Yes"
  4. Disable Power Saving: Device Manager > Wi-Fi Adapter > Properties > Power Management > Uncheck "Allow turn off"
  5. Restart "Mobile Hotspot" Service: services.msc → "Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)" → Restart

💡 Best Practices สำหรับ Windows Mobile Hotspot

  • ตั้ง Password: ≥ 12 ตัวอักษร, Complex (WPA2-PSK AES / WPA3)
  • ใช้ Band 5 GHz (ถ้ารองรับ) เร็วกว่า แต่วัสดุบดบังได้น้อยกว่า
  • ปิด Hotspot เมื่อไม่ใช้: ประหยัดแบตเตอรี่ ลด Attack Surface
  • จำกัดจำนวนอุปกรณ์: Max 8 devices (Default)
  • ใช้ Metered Connection: ป้องกัน Windows Update ใช้ Hotspot Data

⚠️ ข้อจำกัด

  • ต้องมี Wi-Fi Adapter รองรับ Hosted Network (เกือบทุกตัวใหม่รองรับ)
  • ไม่สามารถ Bridge ไปยัง Ethernet ได้โดยตรง (ต้องใช้ ICS)
  • Performance ต่ำกว่า Router จริง (Software AP)
