1. OneGet – Package Manager แบบ Linux
Package Manager แบบ Linux ใน Windows มาแล้ว! OneGet = Package Management Framework ใน PowerShell Unified Interface ค้นหา ติดตั้ง Uninstall Manage Software ผ่าน Cmdlets/APIs ทั่วไป OneGet เป็น Open Source Microsoft วางแผน Integrate เข้า Windows Update ลึกๆ
Integration นี้ทำให้ Desktop Programs Trigger Updates ผ่าน Interface เดียว แทน Update Service แยกต่างหาก — OneGet Ship ด้วย Chocolatey เป็น Default Package Source ดาวน์โหลด Latest Builds จาก GitHub OneGet ได้
2. ปรับปรุง Command Prompt
Microsoft เพิ่มฟีเจอร์สำคัญให้ Command Prompt หลังนาน — เข้าถึงได้ที่แท็บ Experimental ใน Properties:
- Live/Dynamic Resize Window (ไม่ต้องไป Layout Properties)
- Text Selection ง่ายขึ้น
- Word Wrapping on Resize
- Keyboard Shortcuts และ Editing Improvements มากมาย
- รองรับ High-Res Monitors (ไม่จำกัด 800x600)
- Console Window Transparency (Oddball แต่สนุก)
Transparency ทำให้ Console ใสได้ — ทุก Console รวม PowerShell ได้รับ Improvements เหมือนกัน — ขอ Tabbed Console กับ Profiles และ Built-in grep เล็กน้อย
3. Trackpad Gestures และ Desktop Notifications
Win8 มี Trackpad Gestures แต่ Buggy ไม่ใช้ได้ Win10 ปรับปรุง ใช้งานได้จริง — Gestures ใหม่คล้าย Mac: 3-finger swipe Minimize/Maximize, Activate Task View ฯลฯ ลองดูถ้าใช้ Win10 Tech Preview
Desktop Notifications ปรับปรุง: Win8 Toast หายไม่นาน ไม่มี Trace Win10 → รวมใน Action Center เข้าถึงได้จาก Notification Area Taskbar
