จากการค้นหาใน Forum บางความคิดเห็นชี้ว่าเกี่ยวกับ System Recovery Manager ของ HP โฟลเดอร์นี้ใช้ติดตั้ง Software out of the box คือ แอปที่ Pre-installed หรือตอน Recover PC ด้วย Recovery manager
ค้นหาใน HP Forums พบโพสต์เกี่ยว Recovery manager failures และ System.SAV folder พร้อม Log files
แม้จะลบได้ แต่ ไม่แนะนำให้ลบ โพสต์ใน Forum ของ HP ระบุชัดเจนว่า:
Do not delete any files that are associated with system recovery! Do not delete the items: $RECYCLE.BIN, boot, hp, preload, Recovery, RecoveryImage, system.sav, bootmgr, BT_HP.FLG, CSP.DAT, DeployRp, HP_WSD.dat, HPSF_Rep, language, or RPCONFIG! Doing so can prevent a future system recovery from the hard drive. If you are not sure, do not delete the file.
HP Recovery ควรสร้างโฟลเดอร์นี้ระหว่าง Recovery process เพื่อคืน PC สู่สภาพเดิมตอนซื้อ โฟลเดอร์มี Config files, Utilities ทั้งหมดที่ใช้ Recovery ด้วย Tool ของ HP
