เร็วๆ นี้ ได้รับ Complaints เยอะเกี่ยวกับ System Error 6118 Issue นี้เกิดเมื่อ User พยายาม Execute Command Prompt net view เพื่อดู Network devices ทั้งหมด ระหว่างเกิดปัญหา User ไม่เห็น Devices ใต้ Category Network ใน File Explorer ในบทความนี้ จะเน้นสาเหตุที่เป็นไปได้ และให้ Solutions ที่เหมาะสมเพื่อกำจัด Error

วิธีที่ 2: เปิดใช้งาน Function Discovery Service
หาต้องการ Tips เพิ่มเติมแก้ "System error 6118 has occurred. The list of servers for this workgroup is unavailable" สามารถ Enable Function Discovery Service ทำตามขั้นตอนง่ายๆ ด้านล่าง:
- เปิด Run dialog ด้วย Windows + R พร้อมกัน
- ในช่องข้อความ ใส่ services.msc (ไม่ต้องเครื่องหมายคำพูด) กด Enter Action จะเปิด Services
- หา Function Discovery Provider Host services ใต้ Services window คลิกขวา เข้าแก้ไข Properties เลือก Drop-down menu ใต้ Startup type เลือก Automatic
- ไปที่ Service status category ที่แสดง Stopped เลือก Start
- บันทึกการเปลี่ยนแปลง คลิก Apply ตามด้วย OK
- กลับไป Services section คราวนี้หา Function Discovery Resource Publication service
- ทำซ้ำขั้นตอนข้างต้น
เสร็จแล้ว ทำซ้ำ Process ที่กระตุ้น System Error 6118 เพื่อตรวจสอบว่า Issue แก้ไขแล้วหรือไม่
วิธีที่ 3: เปิดใช้งาน Network Discovery
เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่า Network Discovery เปิดอยู่ ทำตามขั้นตอน:
- เปิด Run dialog ด้วย Windows + R พร้อมกัน
- ในช่องข้อความ พิมพ์ control (ไม่ต้องเครื่องหมายคำพูด) กด Enter เปิด Control Panel
- ใน Control Panel window ไป View By เลือก Large Icons
- ไป Network and Sharing Centre คลิกเปิด
- ด้านซ้าย Pane เลือก Change Advanced Sharing Settings จะไป Section Change Sharing Options for Different Network Profiles
- คลิกลูกศรข้าง Section ที่ชื่อว่า Guest or Public
- Section จะขยาย แสดง Network Discovery section เลือก Turn on network discover
- เลื่อนลงหาและขยาย All Networks ไป File Sharing Connections section ยืนยันว่า Use 128-bit encryption to help protect file sharing connections (recommended) เปิดอยู่
- ไป Password Protected Sharing component เปิด Turn on password protected sharing
- เสร็จแล้ว คลิก Save changes เพื่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงมีผล
ตอนนี้ปิดหน้าต่างทั้งหมด และกำจัด Process ที่กระตุ้น Error ครั้งแรก
