UEFI-based Computer คืออะไร?
UEFI ย่อมาจาก "Unified Extensible Firmware Interface" เป็น Interface Standard ของ Firmware สำหรับ OS ที่ทันสมัยกว่า Legacy BIOS เช่น รองรับ Fast PC Startup, Bootable GPT Hard Drive, ความจุมากกว่า 2TB เป็นต้น เกือบ PCs ใหม่ทุกเครื่องเป็น EFI/UEFI
เพื่อระบุว่าคอมพิวเตอร์เป็น UEFI Mode หรือไม่ สามารถใช้ Windows Disk Management Tool
หาก Type ของ Hard Drive ที่ System Partition อยู่เป็น GPT เช่นภาพด้านบนแสดง (EFI System Partition) คอมพิวเตอร์เป็น UEFI Mode หากเป็น MBR คือ Traditional BIOS Mode
วิธีกู้รหัสผ่าน Windows 10/8.1/8 ที่ลืม บน UEFI-based Asus Computer

Step 1: ดาวน์โหลดโปรแกรมในคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เข้าถึงได้ (ไม่ใช่ UEFI-based Asus Computer) รันโปรแกรม เลือก Windows Password Key Enterprise ให้เปิดอัตโนมัติ
Step 2: เลือก "USB flash drive" ระบุ USB Flash Drive Burning Drive จาก Pull-down List พร้อมเสียบ USB Flash Drive ว่าง คลิก Burn คลิก Yes ดำเนินต่อ Windows Password Key Extract ISO Image และ Copy ไฟล์ที่จำเป็นลง USB Flash Drive
Step 3: ใส่ USB Flash Drive ที่เพิ่งสร้างเข้า Asus Computer ตั้งค่า BIOS ให้บูตจาก USB
- เปิด Asus Computer ทันทีที่ Logo Asus ปรากฏ กด Del/F2 ทันทีเข้า BIOS Setup
- เลือก Boot Tab กด CSM (Compatibility Support Module) ใต้ Setup Mode Enable มัน
- ข้างเคียง เปลี่ยน Boot Device Control เป็น UEFI and Legacy
- กลับไป Setup Mode เลือก Secure Boot ปิดใช้งาน (Disable) Save Changes และ Exit BIOS Setup
- ปิด Asus Computer เปิดใหม่ กด ESC รวดเร็วเข้า Boot Menu เลือก USB Drive ที่เสียบ กด Enter
หรือกด F2 เข้า BIOS Setup อีกครั้ง ตั้ง Bootable USB Drive ให้เป็น First Boot Option
Step 4: หลัง Asus Computer บูตจาก USB Drive สำเร็จ Windows Password Key จะเปิด แสดง Local User Accounts และ Microsoft Account ทั้งหมดบน Asus Computer เลือก User Account ที่ต้องการกู้รหัสผ่าน คลิก Remove Windows Password คลิกไปขั้นตอนถัดไป
Step 5: ตอนนี้ Windows Account Name และ Password จะแสดงบน Interface ยินดีด้วย กู้รหัสผ่าน Windows ที่ลืม บน UEFI-based Asus Computer สำเร็จแล้ว
