วิธีตรวจสอบว่า Windows 7 เป็นของแท้ (Genuine)

Windows 7 ต้องเป็นของแท้และ Activate แล้ว จึงได้รับอัปเดตและสนับสนุนจาก Microsoft

วิธีที่ 1: ใช้ Activate Windows Utility

1. เปิด Start Menu ค้นหา activate windows
2. คลิก Activate Windows
3. ถ้าเป็นของแท้ จะแสดง "Activation was successful" พร้อมโลโก้ Microsoft Genuine

วิธีที่ 2: ดูที่ Properties ของ Computer

1. คลิกขวา Computer (บน Desktop หรือ Start Menu) > Properties
2. เลื่อนลงส่วน Windows activation
3. ถ้าเป็นของแท้ จะแสดง "Windows is activated" พร้อมโลโก้ Genuine
