Send a Smile/Frown ใน IE เป็นปุ่มส่ง Feedback แต่ไม่มีประโยชน์และรบกวน อยู่ Toolbar มุมขวาบน ไม่มีการตั้งค่าปิดใน UI แต่สามารถปิดได้ผ่าน Registry หรือ Group Policy
ปิดปุ่ม Send a Smile ใน Internet Explorer
สร้าง Restore Point ก่อน
วิธีที่ 1: Registry Editor
- Win + R → regedit Enter
- ไปที่:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft - คลิกขวา Microsoft → New → Key → ชื่อ Restrictions
- คลิกขวา Restrictions → New → DWORD (32-bit) → ชื่อ NoHelpItemSendFeedback
- ดับเบิลคลิก → Value data: 1 → OK
- รีบูท → ปุ่ม Send a Smile จะหาย
วิธีที่ 2: Group Policy Editor (สำหรับ Pro/Enterprise/Education)
- Win + R → gpedit.msc Enter
- ไปที่: User Configuration → Administrative Templates → Windows Components → Internet Explorer → Browser menus
- คลิกขวา Help menu: Remove ‘Send Feedback’ menu option → Edit
- ตั้งเป็น Enabled → Apply → OK
- รีบูท
