“The file you are attempting to preview could harm your computer.” เป็น Security Warning Alert ใน Windows โดยเฉพาะ File Explorer ที่ปรากฏเมื่อพยายาม Preview ไฟล์อย่าง PDF
Warning นี้มักปรากฏเมื่อ Windows นำ Security Tag ที่เรียกว่า Mark of the Web (MOTW) ไปใช้ MOTW เพิ่มอัตโนมัติให้ไฟล์ที่ดาวน์โหลดจากอินเทอร์เน็ต หรือแตกจาก ZIP Archives ที่ดาวน์โหลด มันติดป้ายว่าไฟล์มาจาก Internet Zone ทำให้ File Explorer จัดว่าเป็น Potentially Unsafe และบล็อก Preview Handlers ไม่ให้โหลดอัตโนมัติ
ในบางกรณี Warning อาจปรากฏเพราะ:
- Attachment Manager หรือ Group Policy Restrictions
- Microsoft Defender หรือ Third-party Antivirus Sandboxing
- Office Preview Handler Security Settings
- ไฟล์แตกจาก ZIP Archive ที่ถูกบล็อก
Windows Security Hardening 近期ทำให้ Preview Handlers เข้มงวดขึ้นกับ Internet-originated Files ทำให้พฤติกรรมนี้ชัดเจนขึ้นบน Systems ที่อัปเดตครบ
ด้านล่างคือวิธีปลอดภัยที่สุดในการกู้คืน File Previews
1. Unblock ไฟล์จาก Properties
การลบ Security Block จะลบ Mark of the Web Tag และอนุญาตให้ File Explorer Preview ไฟล์ ได้ทำเฉพาะไฟล์ที่คุณเชื่อถือ
- คลิกขวาไฟล์ที่ได้ผลกระทบ เลือก Properties
- ใต้แท็บ General ติ๊ก Unblock แล้วคลิก Apply และ OK
- Refresh File Explorer หรือเปิดโฟลเดอร์ใหม่ ยืนยันว่า Preview Pane แสดงไฟล์แล้ว
หากตัวเลือก Unblock ไม่ปรากฏ ไฟล์อาจไม่มี MOTW Tag หรือถูกจำกัดโดย Security Policy หรือ Antivirus
2. Unblock หลายไฟล์พร้อมกันด้วย PowerShell
หากไฟล์หลายไฟล์ได้รับผลกระทบ PowerShell สามารถลบ MOTW Tag แบบ Bulk ได้ รันเฉพาะโฟลเดอร์ที่มีไฟล์ที่เชื่อถือได้
- เปิด PowerShell Administrator Access ปกติไม่จำเป็นสำหรับไฟล์ใน User Folders
- Unblock ทุก PDF ในโฟลเดอร์:
Unblock-File -Path "C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\*.pdf"
แทนที่ YourUsername ด้วยชื่อบัญชี Windows และปรับ Path หากต้องการ - Unblock ทุกไฟล์ในโฟลเดอร์และ Subfolders:
Get-ChildItem "C:\Path\To\Folder" -Recurse | Unblock-File
- เปลี่ยน Extension Filter เป็น .xlsx, .docx, .pptx หรือไฟล์อื่นๆ ตามต้องการ
หากเจอ Access Denied Error ให้แน่ใจว่ามีสิทธิ์ Modify ไฟล์ใน Location นั้น
3. ถอนติดตั้ง Windows Update ล่าสุด (Last Resort)
หาก Previews ยังถูกบล็อกแม้ลบ MOTW Tags และตรวจสอบ Security Settings แล้ว และปัญหาเริ่มทันทีหลัง Windows Update การถอน Update นั้นอาจกู้คืนพฤติกรรมเดิมชั่วคราว
สำคัญ: Security Updates ปรับปรุงการป้องกันระบบ การลบอาจเปิดโอกาส Vulnerabilities และ Windows Update อาจติดตั้งกลับอัตโนมัติ
- กด Win + I เปิด Settings
- ไป Windows Update เลือก Update history
- คลิก Uninstall updates
- เลือก Update ที่ติดตั้งก่อนปัญหาเริ่ม คลิก Uninstall
- ยืนยัน Prompts และ Restart คอมพิวเตอร์
- หลัง Restart ตรวจสอบว่า File Explorer Previews ทำงานปกติหรือไม่
เมื่อ Mark of the Web Tag ถูกลบ หรือ Preview Restrictions ปรับแล้ว File Explorer ควรแสดง Previews โดยไม่แสดง Security Warning
