หลังติดตั้ง restart Firefox ไป Tools > Greasemonkey คลิก New User Script
สร้าง script ใหม่ ให้ meaningful title และ description Namespace field ควร point to URL ที่ได้ script อาจเป็น online Greasemonkey repository
Includes และ Excludes fields ระบุ sites/domains ที่ enable/disable script กรณีนี้ enable บน Google search pages ใช้ google.com/* wildcard
คลิก OK extension จะขอเลือก default text editor แล้วแสดง script มีแค่ header ต้อง add actual code
