ผมเคยแสดงวิธีด้วย VMware Player + FreeDOS (อ่านใน DOS Article) แต่มีปัญหา: Article Guide Steps เยอะ ต้อง Complete ทุกขั้นตอนถึง Enjoy DOS Environment
บทนำ
Steps น่ารำคาญ:
- Download & Install VMware Player (或 Server)
- Download & Install FreeDOS ภายใน VMware Player เป็น Guest OS
- Config FreeDOS Load Drivers Properly Run As Intended
- Copy Games เข้า Virtual Env Run

DOSBox = Best Thing 聽來久 x86 Emulator with DOS Simple 跑 DOS Apps... Games ให้ Solid Graphic/Sound Compatibility
Audio Quality 和 Gameplay Speed ใน DOSBox > VMware Player/FreeDOS Combo 最重要的是: 很少 Tweaking Install/Run Properly 為了玩 Oldies 最小麻煩:
- Download DOSBox (Free Open-source)
- Install 任意位置 像普通程式
- Run DOSBox
唯一有點複雜: Command Line 但如果 Handle 文字不行 DOS 絕對不適合你! DOSBox 允許 Mount Folders/CD-ROMs 為 Virtual Drives 學 Commands: Type INTRO 或 HELP at Prompt 每次 Start DOSBox Welcome Screen 告訴你這點
現在要做的只是以下
Games 不需要 CDs:
- สร้าง Drive บน Hard Disk เก็บ Old Games - 如 J:\OLD
- Copy Old Games 去該 Folder
- Mount Folder 含 Games - 如
mount c j:\oldสร้าง Virtual Drive C 在 DOSBox 含 Sub-folders Games 從 J:\OLD 現在對待 Virtual Drive 如 Hard Disk 在 DOS Env Run Games - Run Games
Games 從 CDs 跑:
- Mount CD-ROM (Follow INTRO 詳情)
- Mount Folder 需要含 Game Parts 從 CD Copy 到 Hard Disk
- Install Games 從 CD-ROM 進 Virtual Folder (視為 Virtual Drive)
- Run Games
就是這樣 不能更簡單 例: DOOM 2 跑像 Warm Dutch Butter:
