ประมาณปีก่อน ผมรีวิว Beta Version ของ Kdenlive 18.08 มันเป็น Program OK Incremental Improvement แม้จะมี Issues ที่คาดหวังใน Beta-quality Software โดยรวมไม่มี Big Surprises แต่ผมหวัง Streamlined Workflow และ Improved Consistency
12 เดือนผ่านไป Kdenlive 19.08 Released เวลารีวิวอีกครั้ง เพราะนี่คือ Video Editor โปรดของผม ใช้สร้าง Youtube Videos ตลกและไม่ตลกทั้งหมด ผม Keen มากกับ New Things และ Improvements เริ่มกันเถอะ Gingerly
First Steps ... Not Promising (ขั้นตอนแรก... ไม่น่าคาดหวัง)
Setup เสร็จ Launch ได้ Dark Theme ตามคาด แต่แก้ได้เร็ว OK Kdenlive 19.08 ไม่ Start Session ด้วย Wizard อาจเพราะเคยใช้ Versions อื่นก่อน มี Config File ที่ไหน
ส่วนสำคัญที่สุด - ทำงานกับ Multimedia Project จริง เหมือนปีก่อน ผม Import Handful ของ Videos รวม .kdenlive Project Files โหลด Clips และ Images หลายสิบที่เป็น Complete Media Package ลอง Load หนึ่งในนั้น - Casey Ryback Tribute - Kdenlive ปิดทันที สมมติ Crash Re-launch Icons หายจาก Interface - Fixed โดยเปลี่ยนกลับ Dark Theme (หรืออื่นๆ นอกจาก Selected) แล้วกลับมา

ลอง Project Files อื่นๆ เช่น Risitas & Firefox ไม่ได้ แล้วตัดสินใจ Create Brand New Project Import Clips Drag & Drop ลง Audio/Video Tracks ใน Main Interface แต่ไม่ Work! ไม่สามารถ Drag & Drop Files ได้เลย
นี่คือไกลที่สุดที่ไป - ไม่เกี่ยวกับ Old Projects Bugs คือ 19.08 By Essence

Apparently Issues ที่สังเกตปีก่อน ไม่ได้ Strictly Beta Latest Version ก็ Affected แม้อีกตัวทำงานได้ ผม Unable to Do Even Basic Stuff กับ 19.08 ใน Manner ที่ Eerily Similar กับ Linux Distributions Loss of Momentum, Reduced Quality, Slow Slide Toward Irrelevance
ผมหวังข่าวดีกว่า Lovely Screenshots Awesome Project Work แต่ไม่ได้ไปไกล และ Dread คิดถึง Next Major Version เพราะ Rely on Kdenlive ต้องการมันสร้าง Video Clips Alas Kdenlive 19.08 Too Buggy To Use และ Leery ของ Yesteryear Trend แม้ไม่มี Cardinal Reasons ไม่ชอบ 2018 Release ตอนนี้ไม่มี Reasons ชอบตัวนี้ Me Sad And Cut
