ภาพรวม Oracle Demantra

Oracle Demantra เป็นเครื่องมือ Demand Management และ Supply Chain Management นำหน้าด้าน Demand Management, Sales & Operations Planning, Trade Promotions Management รวมกับ Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Advanced Planning (APS) Suite (ASCP) เพื่อใช้ประโยชน์จากฟังก์ชัน Demantra สูงสุด

บทความนี้อธิบายขั้นตอนติดตั้ง Oracle Demantra 12.2 ร่วมกับ Oracle APS 12.2 Suite และการตั้งค่า Demantra Web Server และ Analytical Engine บน Linux Server เพื่อ Performance และ Stability ที่ดีกว่า

หมายเหตุ: ขั้นตอนอิง Oracle Demantra 12.2.6.2 กับ Oracle APS 12.2.6 Suite การรวมระบบฟังก์ชันกับ Oracle APS/ASCP ไม่อยู่ในขอบเขต

ขั้นตอนการติดตั้ง แบ่ง 4 階段

  • Phase 1: เตรียม APS/ASCP Database สำหรับ Demantra
  • Phase 2: ติดตั้ง Oracle Demantra บน Windows Machine
  • Phase 3: ตั้งค่า Oracle Demantra Web Server และ Deploy Demantra Application (EAR) บน Linux
  • Phase 4: ตั้งค่าและ Deploy Oracle Demantra Analytical Engine บน Linux

Phase 1: เตรียม APS/ASCP Database สำหรับ Demantra

Demantra ต้องติดตั้งใน Database เดียวกับ ASCP/APS (Target Planning Instance) สำหรับ Integration ส่วน EBS Source Instance อาจอยู่ Database แยก

ขั้นตอนใน ASCP Database:

  1. เพิ่มใน init.ora: 
    db_16K_cache_size=1024M
db_securefile=NEVER
  2. สร้าง Password File (ถ้ายังไม่มี): 
    orapwd file=orapw<ORACLE_SID> password=XXXXX entries=10 ignorecase=y
  3. สร้าง Tablespace TS_DMT_DATA และ TS_DMT_IDX Blocksize 16K: 
    CREATE TABLESPACE TS_DMT_DATA DATAFILE
'/u01/oradata/DTTIC/d_dmt_data01.dbf' SIZE 2G AUTOEXTEND ON MAXSIZE 20G,
'/u01/oradata/DTTIC/d_dmt_data02.dbf' SIZE 2G AUTOEXTEND ON MAXSIZE 20G
LOGGING ONLINE PERMANENT BLOCKSIZE 16K
EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL UNIFORM SIZE 128K
SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO;

CREATE TABLESPACE TS_DMT_IDX DATAFILE
'/u01/oradata/DTTIC/d_dmt_idx01.dbf' SIZE 2G AUTOEXTEND ON MAXSIZE 20G,
'/u01/oradata/DTTIC/d_dmt_idx02.dbf' SIZE 2G AUTOEXTEND ON MAXSIZE 20G
LOGGING ONLINE PERMANENT BLOCKSIZE 16K
EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL UNIFORM SIZE 128K
SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO;

Phase 2: ติดตั้ง Oracle Demantra บน Windows Machine

Demantra Installer และ Administrative Utilities (Installer, Business Modeler, Demand Management Tools) รองรับเฉพาะ Windows

ขั้นตอนก่อนติดตั้ง (Pre-steps):

  1. ติดตั้ง Oracle Database 12c (12.1.0.2) Client 64-bit บน Windows Server
  2. เพิ่ม ORACLE_HOME และ ORACLE_BASE ใน Environment Variables
  3. Setup TNS สำหรับ Planning Database ใน tnsnames.ora
  4. Test SQLPLUS Connection จาก Oracle Client (system/syssbx@dbSid)

ขั้นตอนติดตั้ง Demantra 12.2.6.2 บน Windows 64-bit 2012 Server:

  1. Download Patch 25820351: DEMANTRA 12.2.6.2 จาก My Oracle Support แตกไฟล์ p25820351_122620_MSWIN-x86-64.zip
  2. Double-click setup.exe → Install Demantra Spectrum → Next
  3. เลือก Deploy Options: Demantra and/or engine on Linux (สำหรับ Performance/Stability)
  4. เลือก Installation Folder และ Shortcuts
  5. กรอก DBA User/Password
  6. กรอก Demantra Schema Name/Password (เช่น DEM)
  7. กรอก Connection Details
  8. เลือก Standard หรือ Custom Application
  9. เลือก Tablespaces สำหรับ Demantra Objects (ตรวจสอบ Free Space)
  10. เลือก Languages (ต้องมี Default Language)
  11. Setup Demantra URL และ Email Account
  12. ตรวจสอบ Summary → Install
  13. รอการติดตั้ง → ติดตั้ง Java 8 Update 51 หากยังไม่มี
  14. Acrobat Reader Installer จะรัน → OK
  15. กรอก Demantra User Passwords (Case Sensitive)
  16. Click Done
  17. หาก DBA ไม่มี SYSDBA Privileges จะมี Warning → Note SQL ที่ต้องรันหลังติดตั้ง
  18. สำคัญ: รัน sys_grants.sql ด้วยตนเอง (Copy จาก Windows ไป Linux Database Server)
  19. Check Log Files สำหรับ Errors
  20. เก็บ Log Files ไว้ Review: D:\temp\reInstall
  21. Check Versions
  22. Login Business Modeler (modeler.bat) User: dm / Password
  23. Check Version จาก Help > About
  24. Check Tomcat Startup (startup.bat) และ Login Demantra Anywhere
  25. Review High Priority Patches (MOS Note 470574.1) และ Apply Patches
  26. Backup Demantra File System และ Schema

Phase 3: ตั้งค่า Web Server และ Deploy EAR บน Linux (ภาพรวม)

  1. Install Java JDK 8 64-bit บน Linux (Demantra Web Server)
  2. Install WebLogic 12c (12.1.3.0.0) บน Linux
  3. Configure Domain สำหรับ Demantra Deployment
  4. Configure JDBC Data Source
  5. Enable Archived Real Path
  6. Create Demantra WAR File บน Windows Machine
  7. Deploy Demantra EAR
  8. Activate Demantra Application

Phase 4: ตั้งค่าและ Deploy Analytical Engine บน Linux (ภาพรวม)

  1. Install Java JDK 8 64-bit และ Oracle Client บน Linux (Analytical Engine Server)
  2. Copy Engine Tar จาก Windows ไป Linux
  3. Create Engine Data Source File
  4. Configure Demantra Analytical Engine กับ Oracle Wallet Repository ใหม่
  5. Start Analytical Engine Starter

สรุป

การติดตั้ง Demantra เป็นกระบวนการหลายขั้นตอน ครอบหลาย Instances และ Components แต่ปฏิบัติตามคำแนะนำนี้จะลดเวลา Implementation และใช้ประโยชน์จาก Demantra ได้สูงสุด Demantra ช่วยให้ Planners ตรวจจับ Demand Real-time, ปรับปรุง Forecast Accuracy, และ Shape Demand เพื่อ Profitability
