ทุกครั้งที่เสียบอุปกรณ์ใหม่ Windows จะถามว่าจะทำอะไร AutoPlay จำการเลือกไว้ เช่นเสียบ USB เลือก "Take no action" ครั้งหน้าเสียบ USB เดียวกัน Windows จะไม่ถามอีก
ป้องกัน AutoPlay จำ User Choice ใน Windows 11/10
มี 2 วิธีทำให้ Windows ลืมการเลือกสำหรับ USB เฉพาะตัว
ใช้ Group Policy
1. Windows 10 Pro & Enterprise: Win+R พิมพ์ gpedit.msc Enter
2. ไปที่:
Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> AutoPlay Policies
3. หา setting Prevent AutoPlay from remembering user choices (Not Configured) คลิกสองครั้ง
4. เลือก Enabled > Apply > OK
Policy นี้ป้องกัน AutoPlay จำการเลือกของผู้ใช้ ถ้า Enable AutoPlay จะถามทุกครั้งที่เสียบอุปกรณ์ ถ้า Disable/Not Configured AutoPlay จะจำการเลือก
ปิด Group Policy Editor reboot
ใช้ Registry Editor
1. Win+R พิมพ์ regedit Enter
2. ไปที่:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
3. คลิกขวา whitespace > New > DWORD Value ชื่อ DontSetAutoplayCheckbox
4. Value data = 1 OK ปิด Registry Editor reboot
