UEFI เป็น Software สำคัญที่สุดสำหรับ Boot OS บน Computer BIOS เป็น Alternative แต่น้อยกว่า UEFI รองรับ UEFI หรือ BIOS ขึ้นกับ Motherboard User บางคนที่ใช้ UEFI รายงานว่า UEFI Firmware Settings หายไปจาก Advanced Options Screen สาเหตุหลายอย่าง: Extra Fast Startup Enabled, UEFI Menu Blocked, OS Installed ใน Legacy Mode เป็นต้น
UEFI Firmware Settings หายไปใน Windows 11/10
หา UEFI Firmware Settings ไม่เจอใน Advanced Options ลอง Troubleshoot, Enable, Access ด้วยวิธีต่อไปนี้:
- ตรวจสอบว่า Computer รองรับ UEFI หรือไม่
- ปิด Fast Startup
- Bypass Extra Fast Startup Feature
- ใช้ Boot to UEFI Shortcut
- ตรวจสอบ CMOS Battery
1. ตรวจสอบ Support UEFI
Motherboard ไม่รองรับ UEFI = ไม่มี Option "UEFI Firmware Settings" ใน Advanced Options ลองเช็คว่าเครื่องรองรับ UEFI หรือไม่
2. ปิด Fast Startup
Boot เข้า Safe Mode ก่อน
- Win + R >
control> Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options - เมนูซ้าย: Choose what the power buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable
- Uncheck Turn on fast startup (Recommended) > Save Changes
- Reboot เช็คว่าแก้ได้หรือไม่
3. Bypass Extra Fast Startup
กดค้าง Shift เวลาคลิก Shutdown จาก Start Button จะ Boot ด้วย UEFI จากต้นทาง ใช้ Hotkey Motherboard เข้า UEFI Setup
4. ใช้ Boot to UEFI Shortcut
- คลิกขวา Desktop > New > Shortcut
- พิมพ์:
shutdown /r /fw - Next > ตั้งชื่อ > Finish
- คลิกขวา Shortcut > Properties > Advanced > ติ๊ก Run as administrator > OK
- รัน Shortcut นี้ จะ Boot เข้า UEFI Firmware Settings อัตโนมัติ
5. ตรวจสอบ CMOS Battery
ตรวจสอบ CMOS Battery บน Motherboard ลองเปลี่ยนดู หากมันเป็นสาเหตุ
6. Toggle Legacy ↔ UEFI
ลองเปลี่ยนจาก Legacy เป็น UEFI (ถ้ารองรับ) ดูว่าแก้ได้หรือไม่
