IgfxEM Module ใน Windows 10 คืออะไร? ปลอดภัยไหม? แก้ High CPU ยังไง?

ตอนบูท Windows มีกระบวนการหลายอย่างทำงานเบื้องหลัง ก่อน OS เริ่มทำงาน โปรแกรมบน Motherboard เตรียม Hardware โปรแกรมบน OS รักษา Settings ให้คงเดิมหลัง Restart

หนึ่งในนั้นคือ Intel Graphics Executable Main Module (IgfxEM Module) ส่วนประกอบสำคัญของ Windows ปกติรันใน Background ไม่กระทบ Performance

IgfxEM.exe คืออะไร?

igfxEM.exe = Executable File ของ Intel Graphic Executable Main Module จะเห็น Process นี้ถ้า PC ใช้ Intel Graphics Card บาง Driver NVIDIA/AMD ก็ใช้ไฟล์นี้ด้วย

ตอนเปลี่ยน Screen Resolution igfxEM.exe ทำหน้าที่ Middleman ระหว่าง Graphics Card และ Display Interface ส่งคำสั่งไปการ์ดจอ เปลี่ยน Resolution ให้คงที่แม้ Power Off

IgfxEM ยังทำงานร่วมกับ Graphics Card ปรับ Keyboard Shortcuts และ Display Config อื่นๆ (Screen Rotation ฯลฯ)

High CPU Usage: IgfxEM ปลอดภัยไหม?

igfxEM.exe สำคัญต่อฟีเจอร์บางอย่าง แต ไม่ใช่ Core System File ของ Windows 10 พัฒนาโดย Intel แต่ Digital Signed/Verified โดย Microsoft → รับรองว่า Genuine File

แต Genuine ไม่ได้รับประกันปลอดภัยเสมอไป ถ้า igfxEM.exe ใช้ CPU สูงต่อเนื่อง → กลายเป็น Unsafe สำหรับสุขภาพเครื่อง มีปัญหา Malware Impersonation ด้วย

ความปลอดภัยขึ้นอยู่กับ 2 อย่าง: 1) Digital Certification 2) Behavior บนเครื่อง สาเหตุ High CPU:

  1. IgfxEM Module ขัดแย้งกับ Software/Background Processes อื่น
  2. Malware/Virus ปลอมแปลงเป็น igfxEM.exe ทำลายเครื่อง

ตรวจสอบว่า IgfxEM.exe ของคุณ Genuine หรือไม่

igfxEM.exe มาพร้อม Intel Graphics Suite (ติดตั้งอัตโนมัติกับ Driver) ถ้า Process ผิดปกติ → เช็คว่า Genuine หรือ Malware ซ่อนตัว

  1. พิมพ์ "igfxem" ใน Windows Search → คลิกขวา igfxem/IgfxEM.exe ในผลลัพธ์ → Open File Location
  2. คลิกขวา igfxem.exe → Properties
  3. แท็บ Digital Signatures → เช็ค Signature List: ถ้าเป็น Intel (Intel Corporation) และ Microsoft → ไม่ต้องกังวล ไม่ใช่ → Malware → ลบทันที

Troubleshooting IgfxEM.exe Errors

หลายปัจจัยทำให้ igfxEM.exe Error, High Virtual Memory, High CPU มีวิธีแก้หลายอย่าง:

1. Force Stop IgfxEM Module (เร็ว/ง่ายที่สุด)

Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) → คลิกขวา igfxEM Module → End Task ปิดแอป Background ที่ไม่จำเป็น → ลด CPU Usage ถ้า Process กลับมาอัตโนมัติและยังสูง → ลองวิธีถัดไป

2. อัปเดต Graphics Card Driver

Driver เก่า → igfxEM.exe ผิดปกติ เช็ค Update ใน Device Manager: Win+X → Device Manager → Display Adapters → คลิกขวา Adapter → Update Driver → Search Automatically (ต้องออนไลน์)

ถ้า Device Manager หา Update ไม่เจอ → ใช้ Intel Driver & Support Assistant (Intel DSA) น่าเชื่อถือกว่า: ไปหน้า Support Intel → ดาวน์โหลด/ติดตั้ง DSA → รัน → Redirect ไปหน้า Resource ดู Driver/Software Update

3. ปิด IgfxEM Process ผ่าน System Configuration

Driver ใหม่แล้วแต่ยังมีปัญหา → Disable IgfxEM.exe ใน msconfig:

  1. Win+R → msconfig → OK
  2. แท็บ Services → หา IgfxEM Module → Uncheck
  3. Apply → OK

4. สแกน Malware/Virus

Virus/Malware ทำให้ CPU Spike ใน Process บางตัว → Scan ด้วย Windows Defender หรือ Antivirus เห็นใจได้ (อ่านチュートอเรียลสแกนเชิงลึก Windows 10)

TL;DR: IgfxEM อาจ Safe หรือ Unsafe

IgfxEM ให้ Graphics Card ทำงานเต็มที่ ทำงานถูกต้อง → ไม่ต้องกังวล แตถ้า CPU สูงผิดปกติ → เช็ค Digital Signature (ไม่ใช่ Malware) → ถ้าเป็น Malware → Scan ลบ ถ้า Genuine → ทำตาม Troubleshooting ข้างต้นลด CPU Usage
