วิธี Troubleshoot ปัญหา Windows ด้วย Event Viewer Logs

Windows บันทึก Log ทุกเหตุการณ์สำคัญบน PC: การทำงานของโปรแกรม, การเปลี่ยนแปลง Settings, กิจกรรมประจำวัน และที่สำคัญ - บันทึกเมื่อสิ่งต่างๆ ทำงานผิดปกติ ทำให้ Logs มีประโยชน์สำหรับ Troubleshooting

วิธีหา Logs ผ่าน File Explorer

1. เปิด File Explorer > เลือก C: Drive (หรือ Primary Drive)
2. พิมพ์ *.log ใน Search Box > Enter (อาจใช้เวลาหลายนาที)
3. กรองด้วย Date Modified > Today/Yesterday/This Week
4. ดับเบิลคลิก Log ไฟล์ Text เพื่อเปิดใน Notepad

Log ส่วนใหญ่เป็น Technical Data แต่บางครั้งเจอ Error Message ภาษาอังกฤษธรรมดา (ไฟล์หาย, ค่าผิด)

วิธีเช็ค Logs ใน Event Viewer (Built-in)

1. พิมพ์ event ใน Start Menu > เลือก Event Viewer
2. ข้อมูลสำคัญอยู่ใน Windows Logs > ดับเบิลคลิก
3. Application: ปัญหาโปรแกรม/Service
4. System: ปัญหา Windows เอง (Startup/Shutdown Error)

หา Logs ที่ระบุ: Warning (Unexpected), Error (Failed), Critical (Urgent)

จัดเรียง: View > Sort By > Level (วางปัญหาบนสุด)

Filter: Actions > Filter Current Log > Logged: Last 24 hours/7 days > Check Error, Critical > OK

หรือใช้ Custom Views > Administrative Events (รวม Warning/Error/Critical ทุก Type)

Search: Actions > Find > พิมพ์ชื่อ Tool/Feature > Find Next

ใช้ SnakeTail (Free, Portable)

Event Viewer ช้า/ซับซ้อน SnakeTail เร็วกว่า ไม่ต้องติดตั้ง

1. Download SnakeTail for Windows 10 (Free)
2. File > Open EventLog > เลือก Application/System
3. Tabbed Interface ดูหลาย Log พร้อมกัน
4. Right-click Level/Date/Source > Add Filter

ใช้ FullEventLogView (NirSoft, Free)

รายการ Logs ทั้งหมดใน Interface เดียว เรียงได้ตาม Event Time, Level, Provider, Keywords

ใช้ Reliability Monitor (Built-in, Visual)

1. พิมพ์ reliability ใน Start Menu > View reliability history
2. Graph แสดง Days/Weeks คลิกลูกศรเลื่อนเวลา
3. หา Red Cross (Error) และ Yellow Triangle (Warning)
4. คลิกดู Summary / View Technical Details / View All Problem Reports

Reliability Monitor แสดงเฉพาะปัญหาที่ส่งผลต่อ Stability (น้อยกว่า Event Viewer)

แก้ปัญหาเฉพาะเจาะจงด้วย Logs

Event Viewer บอกสาเหตุ แต่ไม่บอกวิธีแก้ Event Log Online Help ส่ง Log ไป Microsoft Support Homepage (ไม่ใช่ Article ที่เกี่ยวข้อง)

EventID.Net = เว็บไซต์ดีมาก: อธิบาย Event ID หมายถึงอะไร ระดับความรุนแรง + Troubleshooting Advice

1. Copy Event ID + Source จาก Event Viewer/SnakeTail
2. ค้นหาบน EventID.Net (เช่น BSOD = Event ID 41, Source: Kernel-Power)
3. อ่าน Comments จาก Community
