ใช้แอปเช่น Roblox, Blender อาจเจอ Error SDL2.dll: "SDL2.dll not designed to run on windows" หรือ "The program can't start because SDL2.dll is missing" SDL2.dll เป็น Dependency สำหรับ Multimedia Apps (เกม, กราฟิก) Error นี้บ่งชี้ไฟล์ .dll หายหรือเสียหาย
แก้ได้โดย: แทนที่ SDL2.dll ที่เสียหาย/หายไป ด้วยไฟล์ที่ทำงานได้ ใน Application Directory หรือ Repair จาก Programs and Features บางครั้ง App หยุดรองรับ OS เก่า (XP) อัปเดตใหม่ทำให้เสีย ต้อง Upgrade OS
วิธีที่ 1: แทนที่ SDL2.dll ด้วยไฟล์ที่ทำงานได้
- ดาวน์โหลด SDL2.dll (32-bit, 64-bit) จากลิงก์ในบทความ
- คลิกขวา DLL > Copy
- ไปที่โฟลเดอร์ Program Files ของแอป: Start > พิมพ์ชื่อแอป > คลิกขวา > Open File Location หรือหาใน C:\Program Files หรือ C:\Program Files(x86)
- ในโฟลเดอร์แอป Paste (Ctrl+V) ให้ Admin access ถ้าขอ
- เปิดแอปใหม่ ยืนยันว่า Error หาย
วิธีที่ 2: Repair Application
Repair ใช้เวอร์ชันที่ทำงานได้ก่อนหน้า รันทุกอย่างใหม่ ได้ผลกับส่วนใหญ่
- Win + R พิมพ์ appwiz.cpl Enter > Programs and Features
- เลือกแอปที่ Error SDL2.dll > คลิก Repair หรือ Change (Roblox ไม่มี Repair Option)
- ถ้าไม่มี Repair ให้ Uninstall > ไปเว็บดาวน์โหลดเดิม/Account Roblox > Download ใหม่ > Install
- Uninstaller ขึ้น > เลือก Repair > ตาม Prompt > รอเสร็จ > เปิดแอปทดสอบ
บางครั้งอัปเดตใหม่ทำให้เสีย ติดต่อ Vendor รอเวอร์ชันแก้ไข
