เข้ารหัสไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์ใน Windows 10 ด้วย EFS: เฉพาะเจาะจง ปลอดภัย

BitLocker เข้ารหัสทั้งไดรฟ์ แต่ EFS (Encrypting File System) เข้ารหัส ไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์เฉพาะตัว (Pro/Enterprise/Education เท่านั้น)

ความต่าง:

• BitLocker: ทั้งไดรฟ์, ไม่ผูก User Account (Admin เปิด → ทุก User เห็น Encrypted), ต้องมี TPM Hardware
• EFS: ไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์เฉพาะ, ผูก User Account (เข้ารหัสโดย User ไหน → เปิดได้แค่ User นั้น), Key เก็บใน Windows (ไม่ต้อง TPM) แต่ Key อาจถูก Extract ได้

เข้ารหัสไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์ด้วย EFS ใน Windows 10

หมายเหตุ: EFS เฉพาะ Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, Education

วิธีที่ 1: GUI (Properties)

1. Win + E → ไปไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์เป้าหมาย
2. คลิกขวา → Properties → แท็บ General → Advanced
3. ติ๊ก Encrypt contents to secure data → OK
4. Apply → เลือก: Apply to this folder only หรือ Apply to this folder, subfolders and files → OK
5. ไฟล์ที่เข้ารหัสจะมี ไอคอนเล็กมุมขวาบน
6. ปิดการเข้ารหัส: ยกเลิกติ๊ก Encrypt contents to secure data

วิธีที่ 2: Command Prompt (cipher)

1. CMD (Admin)
2. Folder + Subfolders + Files: cipher /e /s:"full path of folder"
3. Folder/File เดียว: cipher /e "full path with extension"
4. ตัวอย่าง: cipher /e "C:\Users\Aditya\Desktop\Troubleshooter"

สำคัญ: Backup EFS Encryption Key

หลังเปิด EFS จะมีไอคอนใน System Tray (ข้าง Battery/WiFi) คลิก → Certificate Export Wizard (หรือ certmgr.msc)

1. เสียบ USB Drive
2. คลิกไอคอน EFS → Certificate Export Wizard → Back up now (recommended)
3. Next → Next → ติ๊ก Password → ใส่รหัสผ่าน 2 ครั้ง
4. Browse → เลือก USB → ตั้งชื่อไฟล์ → Save → Next
5. Finish → OK

Backup นี้ช่วยเข้าถึงไฟล์เข้ารหัสได้ หากสูญเสีย User Account
