ในชุดบทความ 2 ส่วน เราจะพูดถึง License Plate Numbers (LPN) ใน Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) ทำไมและวิธีใช้ รวมถึง shortcut keys สำหรับ Mobile Telnet (PuTTy)
LPN คืออะไร?
LPN คือ WMS identity ที่มอบหมายให้กลุ่ม items ที่เคลื่อนที่ผ่าน unit หรือ floor ร่วมกัน LPN ช่วยระบุกลุ่ม items ที่ pack ร่วมกัน และติดตาม sub-inventory, location, revision, lot, serial, organization, และ contents
ข้อดีของ LPNs
LPNs ช่วยให้ทำได้ใน WMS:
- จัดเก็บข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการจัดส่ง: contents, revision, lot, serial, organization, sub-inventory, locator
- ติดตาม contents ของ container ใดๆ ใน receiving, inventory, หรือ transit
- Receive, store, และ pick material ด้วย LPN
- View on-hand balances โดย LPN
- Move multiple items ใน transaction เดียวด้วย LPN
- Transfer LPN contents
- Pack, unpack, consolidate, split, และ update LPNs
- Print labels และ reports สำหรับอ้างอิง container contents
- Reuse empty LPNs
- Receive และ send LPN information บน Advanced Shipment Notice (ASN)
LPN Transactions ใน WMS
- Pack transactions: Pack loose material เข้า LPN
- Consolidate transactions: Nest child LPN เข้า parent LPN
- Unpack transactions: Unpack material หรือ nested LPN จาก parent LPN
- Split transactions: สร้าง LPN ใหม่จาก material ที่เลือกจาก LPN อื่น
- Update LPN transactions: Update weight, volume, container item ของ LPN ต้องป้อน item controls สำหรับ material ที่ควบคุม lot, serial, revision
LPN Context และ Status Codes
Resides in inventory: Material ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ LPN ถูก costed และ accounted ใน inventory ใช้ใน direct delivery-routed receipt ได้ ทำ outbound transactions ได้
Resides in WIP: Material ถูก transacted เป็น work in process ยังไม่ใน inventory ไม่ได้ costed to inventory
Resides in receiving: Material received ด้วย standard/inspection routing receipt ยังไม่ delivered/put away ไม่ใน inventory
Issued out of stores: LPN ไม่ได้ tracked โดยระบบ ไม่เกี่ยวข้องกับ locator ใน warehouse LPNs shipped out of inventory ได้ context นี้ ไม่สามารถ re-receive ได้
Defined but not used or pre-generated: LPN ไม่เกี่ยวข้องกับ physical material พร้อมใช้งาน สามารถ print และใช้ระบุ material ในทุกขั้นตอน
In-transit: LPN material กำลังเคลื่อนที่จาก location หนึ่งไปอีกแห่ง ใช้ใน inter-organization transit (ISOs)
At vendor: Vendor ส่ง ASN มา Oracle WMS ระบบ generate LPNs ผูกกับ material info บน ASN กำหนด context นี้ Materials ไม่ on-hand หรือ costed จนกว่าจะ received
Packing context: ใช้ setup picking/put away rules temporary status ใช้ภายใน software
Loaded to dock or shipments: LPN loaded for shipment เพิ่ง load บน carrier พร้อมออกจาก warehouse หลัง carrier ออก dock LPN ได้ context Resides in transit หรือ Issued out of stores
Prepack for WIP: System ผูก LPN กับ material และ print labels แต่มaterial ยังไม่ physically packed
Picked: LPN ถูก picked อยู่ใน transit ภายใน warehouse
หา Context ของ LPN
ใช้ SQL statement: select LPN_CONTEXT from apps.wms_license_plate_numbers WHERE LICENSE_PLATE_NUMBER = 'LPN_Number'
View LPNs
ดู LPNs ผ่าน mobile UI หรือ application ที่ใช้ Oracle Material Workbench
- ไปที่หน้าต่าง Material Workbench
- ในฟิลด์ View By เลือก LPN
- Expand Organizations folder ดู LPNs ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ organization
- Select LPN ที่ต้องการดู ระบบแสดง contents ใน panel ขวา สามารถ expand LPN ในคอลัมน์ซ้ายดู contents ได้
หมายเหตุ: ฟิลด์ Status แสดงสถานะ on-hand material ที่ status-enabled organizations
View LPNs ด้วย Mobile User Interface
- Login mobile UI ภายใต้ responsibility Whse Mgmt
- จากเมนู Whse Mgmt เลือก Inquiry
- จากเมนู Inquiry เลือก LPN
- ในฟิลด์ LPN ป้อน LPN หรือเลือกจาก list of values
Generate LPNs
ส่ง LPN generation request ผ่าน Oracle Warehouse Management Navigator หรือ mobile device
Submit Concurrent Request Generate LPNs
Generate multiple LPNs ด้วย single concurrent request ผ่าน Navigator เลือก option Generate License Plates แต่ละ LPN พิมพ์บนสติกเกอร์ ผูกกับ container item หรือแค่ label LPNs generate ที่ sub-inventory และ locator หรือไม่มี location จนกว่าจะ packed
ใช้ Mobile Device Generate LPNs
ใช้ Mobile Receipt & Task form generate LPNs ใน PuTTy วาง cursor ในฟิลด์ LPN กด Generate Default shortcut: Ctrl+G
สรุป
LPNs ให้วิธีง่ายๆ ทำ inventory transactions ใน WMS อย่างถูกต้อง User-friendly และประหยัดเวลา ใน Part 2 จะครอบคลุมการ generate LPNs ด้วย mobile interface และ transaction types ต่างๆ ที่ทำกับ LPNs
