MySQL Installer
Windows: MySQL Installer จัดการ installation operations
Linux: Server RPM หรือ Debian distribution จาก Oracle ใช้ native packaging system (Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo, etc.)
macOS: DMG distribution
Platforms อื่นๆ และ installation types: initialize data directory manually (generic binary, source distribution on Unix, ZIP archive on Windows)
Start server และตรวจสอบว่าเข้าถึงได้
Secure Initial MySQL Account
Assign passwords ให้ initial 'root' account ใน grant table (หากไม่ได้ทำตอน initialize data directory) ป้องกัน unauthorized access
Ensure server start/stop auto เมื่อ system start/stop
หากต้องการ populate time zone tables เพื่อ recognize named time zones
