Windows Event Log service ดูแลชุด Event logs ที่ระบบ, Components และ Applications ใช้บันทึกเหตุการณ์ บริการนี้เปิดฟังก์ชันให้โปรแกรมจัดการ Event logs และดำเนินการ เช่น Archive และ Clear ผู้ดูแลระบบจึงสามารถดูแล Event logs และทำ Admin tasks ได้
Windows Event Log Service Not Starting or Running
หากเจอปัญหาเริ่มต้นบริการต่อไปไม่ได้ อาจเพราะ Windows Event Log Service ไม่ได้ทำงาน:
- Task Scheduler
- Windows Event Calendar
- Messenger Sharing Folders
อาจเจอข้อความ:
Event Log service is unavailable. Verify that the service is running
Windows could not start the Windows Event Log service on Local Computer
ลองรีบูตก่อน บางครั้ง Restart ช่วย Reinitialize service ได้ หากแสดง Started ให้ Restart จาก Services Manager อีกครั้ง
ตรวจสอบสถานะ: รัน services.msc Enter เปิด Services Manager คลิกขวา Windows Event Log Service ดู Properties
ตรวจสอบ: Startup type = Automatic, Service = Started, รันใน Account Local Service
ในแท็บ Recovery ทุก Dropdown ต้องเป็น 'Restart the Service' กรณี Failure รีบูตหากจำเป็น
หากยังเริ่มไม่ได้ อาจเจอ:
System cannot find the file specified
ให้เปิดโฟลเดอร์:
C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs
โฟลเดอร์นี้มี Event Logs นามสกุล .evtx อ่านได้เฉพาะ Event Viewer ให้สิทธิ์ Read-Write access กับโฟลเดอร์นี้ ลองดู
อาจลองทำเพิ่ม:
เปิด Registry Editor ไปที่:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\eventlog
ดับเบิลคลิก ObjectName ตรวจสอบ Value = NT AUTHORITY\LocalService หากไม่ใช่ ให้แก้ไข
หากยังไม่ได้ ให้รัน System File Checker และตรวจสอบ Logs
