หลังอัปเกรด Windows 10 Feature Update สำเร็จ ควรตรวจสอบ/ตั้งค่าดังนี้ 15 ข้อ:
Checklist หลังอัปเกรด
- ตรวจสอบ Software Incompatible: Windows อาจ Disable บางโปรแกรม (โดยเฉพาะ Antivirus) ตรวจสอบให้ครบ
- Default Apps: Windows บางครั้งเปลี่ยน Default Apps ให้ตรวจสอบ
- Update Delivery Optimization: Settings > Update & Security > Advanced Options > Choose How Updates Delivered > ปิดได้ถ้าต้องการ
- Notifications/Action Center: ดู Pending Tasks, Activation Status
- Uninstall Upgrade Assistant: หากใช้ Upgrade Assistant ให้ Uninstall ผ่าน Control Panel
- Cortana: ตรวจสอบว่าทำงานปกติ (บางเคสตายหลังอัปเกรด)
- Edge Browser: ลองใช้ Extensions ใหม่, เปลี่ยน Download Folder
- Windows Defender: ตรวจสอบ Enhanced Notifications, Offline Scan, Periodic Scanning (ถ้าใช้ AV ตัวอื่น)
- Disk Cleanup (Admin): เลือก Previous Windows Installation เพื่อลบ Windows.old, $Windows.~BT (แต่ไม่ลบ $Windows.~WS)
- Sign-in Auto-complete: เปิด Use my sign in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update
- System Restore: ตรวจสอบว่า Enable อยู่ (บางครั้งถูก Disable หลังอัปเกรด)
- OneDrive Files On-Demand: เปิดใช้งาน
- Exploit Protection & Controlled Folder Access: เปิดใน Windows Security
- ลองฟีเจอร์ใหม่: Timeline, File Explorer Dark Mode, Clipboard History, Screen Sketch
- Set WiFi Data Limits & Configure Focus Assist
